Meh...just the loss we were due for. Look at the positives, Mummy looked a lot fitter, Pyke just gets better every week and tomorrow is another day.

I don't think I'd put it down to that. I think it was going bad from early on - they just maintained their ability to slingshot the ball all game. We got beaten around the ball but it was inevitable that grundy and ted weren't going to be able to beat their men all night. To the extent it turned it did so because goodes missed a series of crucial set shot which may have maintained scoreboard pressure. They kicked goals and put space between us and them.

I think we just looked really really slow because the only way we have of scoring relies on us getting to crumbs - but if we don't it is a long long way back.

        Still managed 100+ points.
Goodes and a few others looked better tonight.

Whole game changed when LRT went off.

To me it was not Kennedy's man beating him, it was shocking game by him. About the worse I have seen. Can someone tell whats the issue with Jetta??? He looked like he was just jogging around out there! He is unfit, not interested or is something going on? I cannot understand?? I thought he was going to be a Gun, but now he shouldn't be in the side. Selwood wins the award for me for my most hated player in the game for me. What he gets away with umpiring decision it a disgrace on the AFL. Still thought we were umpired out of the game, it looks like they don't want Sydney to win two flags in a row. Its going to be a tough year. Does anyone want to bet we will have the worse free kick ratio in the AFL in 2013??? Just like it happened in 2005 and 2006.

Thought we looked like the better team in the first half and should of been up by more at halftime if we're not for some dodgy umpiring and flukey Geelong goals. We clearly ran out of steam in the second half as a result of our "premiership hangover". However I think this was an important loss for us to have and I dont feel to down after it.

However Jetta, Morton and Reid failed to do anything substantial.

I thought Rampe showed enough to suggest he will be able to fill in for AJ. Our defence relies a lot on knowing each others' moves, so it was always going to be difficult with Armstrong and Rampe in, and then LRT going off. There are still some encouraging signs. I think Horse got outcoached, but he will reflect and adapt. As Ross lyon would say "failure is feedback". WE will play differently next time we meet them. Did anyone see how LRT got hurt?

I am tipping that he (Armstrong) will not get a Guernsey next week.

EXCEPT when he was having a set shot. Plugger or Nicko could give him some lessons?

Thank god we picked up tippet. If LRT's our for awhile we're in a bit of trouble. Time to step up Jesse White

It's 4 games now that Jetta has just pranced around. I don't know what the issue is, but he's got to be dropped. He's doing nothing. And Armstrong is not quite there yet. Needs to get the defensive side of his game and tackling to a higher standard.

Not all that upset about the game. Sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way. Geelong are great at milking frees. I think the Swans got a bit disillusioned how they just couldn't get a break.

The loss is disappointing, but we did show, at least in the first half, that we can really play we'll.

Picking Morton to play as sub is just sheer stupidity. He should have been on the ground at the start or not selected at all.

ried and jetta very disappointing tonight.reid seems bereft of confidence and jetta seems to expect it to come easily,no determination.not a jesse fan but maybe he could do better than reid.can't believe the stats, free kicks almost even, didn't seem that way
