If anyone wonders why Jesse is such a popular man at the Swans, this kind of generosity probably explains it all. His twitter to Jed.

Congratulations big time to my most trusted teammate Jed Lamb. I am going to miss playing with you. We are now working so well together in the ressies. However, have a ball and a red hot go this weekend when you run out for your first seniors game. Oh, by the way, this picture I have enclosed is just fantastic.

Jed has been playing in the midfield and resting on HFF. Maybe you are right but he replaced Drey who played on a wing and HF last week which tells me Jetts back into the side for a full game. I would play him in the mids and let Joey play off the HFF to free him up then slam joey into the mids to confuse them. Jed plays a bit like Joey.

It's official: Lamb in, Everitt out:

Gee Armstrong is been given every chance. I feel he will have to deliver a complete game (ie attack and DEFENCE) soon.

I'd prefer Morton in as sub.

We've been after this all year and now Lamb finally gets a game. I say no green vest for Jed, let him have a full game to show what he can do, not a bloody vested cameo.

Armstrong should be the vest, lucky to stay in, not doing enough impact stuff IMO.

I think Armstrong is only in until Shaw comes back to give us some so called 'dash and carry' from the backline, even though I don't think the dash and carry he provides is particularly impressive.

Great to see Lamb Chops finally get a go - looking forward to it!

Some of the comments on Armstrong are a little bit harsh given that he did improve last game from a bit of poor defensive play against the Cats. For a 26 gamer, if you see improvement from week to week, you can't be too critical. He probably will be dropped when Rhyce comes in, but it's good to have him as a reasonable replacement when needed. He has good skills and is very active, so he could be a solid contributor if he can improve a few aspects of his game. If he doesn't get senior games, it will be hard to know just how good he can be, or how bad for that matter.
