    Not worried about Lewis re-signing.

Mummy is the one I'd be concerned about. Read an article from his manager agitating for a longer contract and presumably more $. All of our other resignings have been straightforward so wouldnt be surprised if he's traded out at the end of the year.

      And at Freo and WC.

Young family, no family support....(Mr Jolly ring a bell), and probably some general homesickness ......

Mummy's future is going to be a very difficult decision for the club. If Pyke was younger, with tippett coming in, I'd think that the club would be in a far better position to negotiate with Mummy to ensure we pay overs. But Pyke is 29 this year, and despite his relative 'youthfulness' in terms of AFL experience and hence 'wear and tear', age will catch up with him like anyone else.

But also I think, on exposed form, its hard to argue against the idea that at the moment, Pyke is our no 1 ruckman. Looking at stats so far this season, on average per game:
        Kicks: Pyke 4.6, Mumford 3
        Handballs: Pyke 6, Mumford 7
        Disposals: Pyke 10.6, Mumford 10
        Marks: Pyke 3.9, Mumford 2.4
        Hitouts: Pyke 26., Mumford 24
        Tackles: Pyke 2.4, Mumford 4
        Goals: Pyke 1.2, Mumford 0.2

That also shows how well matched the two of them are, and how they are pretty evenly contributing to the team effort.

I'd expect the club, if they can afford to will give Mummy the contract he wants. He hasn't been at his best this year, but he is an excellent ruckman, and as a tandem pair, Pyke and Mummy work exceptionally well together. Add to that, we don't have any ready made replacements coming on in the reserves (Naismith is a possibility, but one a few years off yet from being anywhere near AFL standard.)

On the subject of Jetta, like everyone I'm desperate for him to stay. He has the opportunity to be as important to the this club as O'Loughlin, or even Goodes if he can really develop into the elite player that we all know he could be.

But whatever happens, we will always have such fond memories of his time at the club (if it indeed does end this year), and despite the damage he might do to us playing against us, its hard not to smile broadly when you watch him play.

If he goes he goes, not much we can do about it and certainly no use coercing him into staying where he doesn't want to be (re Tippett/Adelaide). The one bit of good news if he does want to go is that he is not a free agent so compensation would be huge. If he repeats his 2012 heroics and he certainly is increasingly looking like that is a distinct possibility, this would likely be the biggest trade at the club in many years.

You'd certainly want at very least a 1st rd + 2nd rd pick for him if you ask me. Could argue 2 1st round picks would be appropriate, considering how much of his career he has in front of him.

I know who would happily pay overs for him.....GWS.

Hard to see Jetta leaving at least while Goodes is at the club. He will re-sign.

Trade Mummy to GWS for young KPP Kristian Jaksch (taken with pick 12 in 2012 draft), and Jetta to Freo for Jack Hannath and 1st round pick. Use pick to get Dayle Garlett. I think that's feasible and we'd be okay.

But prefer that they both re-sign.

With tippet here , we coukd afford to lose mummy if we got a young ruck who will blossum in 2 to 3 years time.

But the swans value ruckmen very highly, so wont let him go without a fight

Mumford has been injured. Last week he started to show his true form. Contract issues were always going to raise speculation after Tippett was signed, but our club would have known all the numbers and what contracts were up for renewal. Our club has got it right for many years now. If Jetta's issue is personal rather than money then lets hope the likes of MOL and Goodes can help keep him at the club. With Mummy a couple of delistings might make space for his $$$.

I can understand why a move would be attractive to him (Jetta), but I think staying in Sydney would still be the best thing for his career...

And Nico totally agree re Mumford, he was good against the Pies, when fully fit he is an extremely valuable player.

We thought it was the end of the world when we lost Jolly - if you get the trade right right everybody can be happy - we cannot keep everybody - I think Rohan will take his place in the team when he is healthy again anyway

We all knew that it would be difficult keeping all our good players in the years after a premiership. Look at Schneider, Buchanan and Dempster
