Buchanan was not a good player when he left. amazing 2005 and 2006 but he always struggled with his kicking, bit like schneiderman of whom my abiding memory is charging towards goal and missing - and then watching him do it for the saints when it really mattered.
dempster was very bad list management by roos - he actually played pretty well 2005 and 2006 whenever he was called upon, but you always had the feeling that roos never trusted him.Comment

"IF" Jetta decided home was the way to go I would be ok to trade for Fyfe
I still would miss our Jetts"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Yeah I think we're jumping the gun a bit. He has hardly said anything to suggest he is set on leaving the swans.Comment

Seriously? Not even mid season & people are already of trading some of our favorite sons based on fact-less innuendo & speculation?!Comment

Did our sponsor ... VW ... name their new car ... the Jetta ... after Lewis??
If so, how fast does it accelerate?Comment

Jetta wont leave. Unless he loses the bond that the likes of Goodes and O'Loughlin have created with him. Its tough on interstate kids to deal with Sydney, simply for the sheer size and anonymity. But a strong bond with team mates will trump the fear of isolation.
So until Goodes retires, Jetta will stay. After that its on to Plan B.Comment

This thread makes me really uncomfortable. I know everyone's just speculating and thinking about the long term health of the team but surely what we want is for Jetts to stay, and odds are that he will I'd say. If we know a player is going to leave, then speculate away but not like this. My two cents.Today's a draft of your epitaphComment
