They may well have been buggered by the final quarter but I think thats excusable given how damn hard they worked for most of the game.
My slight criticism is that they didnt generate as big a score as they should have given just how immense the pressure was. There is still plenty of room to improve the finesse.Comment

Don't underestimate how the Swans' pressure game makes an ok side look incompetent, or how crushing a defeat like we inflicted on Adelaide can be on a side's confidence.
It was kind of the same for West Coast last year. Leading up to the game, they were doing well and were favourites going into the match. The Swans thumped them and it took them weeks to recover. Adelaide did them over the next week too, same as the Tigers overran the Crows this time.Comment

I agree DK. When you go out into a game where plenty were tipping you to give it a good shake, and then you get absolute shellacked in it, it really can drain the confidence. Happened to us a few times over the years against the Pies - talked up all week, then beaten comfortably, and we never really recovered.Don't underestimate how the Swans' pressure game makes an ok side look incompetent, or how crushing a defeat like we inflicted on Adelaide can be on a side's confidence.

I wouldn't be surprised if we do the exact same thing to West Coast this year. They are really struggling at home, and if we are fit and firing we might just give them a good old baking hopefully
