I take your point ugg but if I had too I would put my 20c on McVeigh, Goodes, AJ, Shaw, Pyke and Harry beating him home too (also Towers, Marsh and possibly Dick).
However I think 25 or 50 metres might be a more usefull distance for games)

Not sure if anyone has heard yet, but apparently Cyril Rioli is in doubt for Friday nights game.

if Cyril is out that just means Anderson gets another go. If he starts he could be a wild card for them and Mal or Macca are going to have to show him some respect. Buddy being out means nothing. Bayley comes back so they still retain the three talls in the forward half. Buddy will always kick goals but they are still dangerous, not as dangerous mind you, but still dangerous without him.

Someone said Jetts was on the plane but what I want to know is: Was Hannas on the plane?

It could most certainly be my perception, they are most definitely subjective unlike the stopwatch. However I think your question is somewhat loaded, the alternatives you offer are most definitely not the only ones possible.

Agreed, but you made the statement. The key data they use when trialing the kids for turning speed is that test. It's all i had to go with.

I would say he's heavier now and game fatigued would be different. But I think he'd still be reasonable. They generally try to make them quicker and stronger.

              data isn't everything though!

You can see Morton and Cunningham, two of the likely outs from the team, in the background of the ROK press conference on the Swans site.

Agree with all the comments about the lack of defensive ability of Dre, and as Ugg has intimated would be better suited on the wing or HF. I have suggested in a few threads that we should look to switch Reid into defence. He has the run of Dre, but a much better defensive mindset and ability. He will also end up at near 100 kgs. Then we have Dre as a general utility to play as is needed. Even if White is traded, I still think we should do the switch on Reid.

I'd be really happy to see Mitch play. If he kicks 2 -3 he would have done his job.

Yep, check out the Ryan O'Keefe press conference on the Swans site. It was done at Melb airport this arvo and you can see Hanners in a number of shots.

On the Swans side, as we expected.
After the way Mummo performed last week, Bailey's a big in for the Hawks.

We've got a pretty good looking side now. Can't complain too much. Goodsie would be a nice in. Win tomorrow and I'm sure he'll be back for the prelim.

I noticed they didn't drop Spangher this week, even though he didn't make much of an impression. I wonder if they will use him in defence this week, because the only big body they've got in defence is Lake.

Also surprised that Lamb wasn't named as an emergency.
