Looks like it's going to be a wet game......

A wonderful poem full of clues to Our Great Game.

By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
            Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;

As long as there's a COLA.

And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
WE had a lot of players doing that last week.

I am the most offending soul alive.

I'm happy with those ins. Only sorry we couldn't squeeze Lamb in.

Wow. Horse was talking up Goodes' chances all week. Punk'd us all.

No surprise on Rohan. Just wasn't getting enough of it.

Great to see Biggs in. Sub is either Harry or Jetta?

EDIT: Didn't realise Goodes was re-injured. So Horse was speaking the truth. What's up with that???

Cry "Havoc" and let slip the Swans of yore.

And at the halftime break he would deliver
Such spray to make the very grandstand quiver.
He'd rouse the spirit of '45 to fight
That battle o'er, and cheer the red and white.
Mr D you win over that pommy bloke.

Although it would be worth videotaping the expression of the players faces if they were read the original.

Well Goodes will only miss one possibly two weeks. That's positive.

Yes, heard it straight from the horses mouth.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Not surprised about McGlynn - he has been off the pace for a couple of weeks so probably playing - shame for him , Jude can only play if it rains surely - otherwise good on the selectors for selecting who they did - if Lamb is fit don't think he will be with us next year - he must be very disappointed

Well I guess Tippett and White more than cover for Goodes' role between them.

Jetta must get a full game. He better not be sub.

Still no respect for Morton. Not even an emergency. Pretty disappointing.

Big opportunity for Biggs and Cunningham.

Interesting that Horse was not willing to give up the loss of speed with the exclusion of Rohan and Jetta.
