Glad to see no more walking wounded selected.

No Lamb disappoints me. IMO he should be in ahead of Jude, who's struggling right now.

No Morton disappoints me, or is he injured? If not, it's strange that he's not even an emergency.

I got it wrong when I thought he'd reinjured himself. He just didn't pass the fitness test and Horse ruled him out. So I'm still thinking maybe Horse might have been foxing talking up Goodes' chances all week.

The upside is he fooled Malthouse, who said: "You always play the champions."

I'm excited , 3 out of the 4 games were amazing last weekend, and the Swans are yet to be eliminated, they have been spiced up with some youngsters natural enthusiasm and we dont have our hearts in our mouths wondering if Adam will actually get through the game, or have to retire to the pine again.

Seems to have retired early - Pity as the forward line needs an edge and either Morton or Lamb are needed... (Or B.Jack would have been a good in!)

You may be right, but I would be very disappointed if the Swans dropped a retiring champion and servant of the club for a relatively untried kid. Jude deserves every game that the Swans play in this finals series - even if he is only on one leg.

Lamb for Bolts and the changes would be sweet. Still reasonable considering the options.

Going on what Carlton produced against Tigers and our injury situation I think Biggs and Cunningham are the best choices. Even when blues were down in the second qtr they seemed up pushing for goals where as tigers were just getting quick sneaky ones to make it goal for goal. Swappping two fwds BM and GR for a sub fwd cunningham (with a bit more pace than lamb) and extra rebound defender (biggs) makes perfect sense given the strategy the blues took into last week. I think it may also help to reboot our midfield and open up our fwd line a bit too. Could be a master stroke come late Saturday night

I have absolutely NO problems with Biggs being brought it, and Harry is a very strong young man who looks like he knows what to do.

I am just shattered for Benny though. Seriously, that man cannot take a trick.

The rest of it? Have no idea. None.

Post 218 and about 36 hours before the game starts. New record??

As Ben only seems to get one final in, next year we need to save him for the Grand Final.

Good "in" - Who better to beat the "Boys in Blue" than our "Ronnie" Biggs ?
And here's an omen - the original Ronnie made it all the way to Melbourne .

Bolton and McVeigh are the worries...

Bolton has been struggling lately, and it won't get any easier tomorrow.

McVeigh is obviously coming into the game carrying 2 leg injuries, calf and knee, the small Blues forwards will try to exploit him.

                          - the proof will be in the pudding - the small Carlton fwds are infamous for going missing when the heat is on

I like Casboult, I can't see it happening but I'd love to nick him from Carlton.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
