Interesting to replace two forwards with a backman and a winger. Maybe McVeigh is going to play forward and on ball. There might be a late change in the winds? Obviously Morton is now officially finished. Would have liked to see Morto out there as he brings real forward pressure to the table. Harry will sub. I like Biggs as he will give us run from the HB. I think Macca will play on ball and forwar, he is really good at opening them up and Blues are susceptible to the small/medium forwards. Especially those who can take a good mark. Reason Tigers went missing, they lost the contested ball and wanted to play outside because that is what they do. We will bring far more than they did and Blues will have to be mindful of a top midfield not one or two good mids.

I don't mind who plays. I just want them to make an effort.

Who plays on the Amigos? Smith will take his usual matchup in Betts, Rampe could take one given that Carlton don't really have a third tall forward (Duigan kind filled in this role last week with aplomb but we could probably get away with Everitt or Malceski on him) and there might be a big task ahead for Shane Biggs in only his second game.

I was wondering the same as you. I'm of a similar mind in terms of Macca and his role. The other possibility is that Horse wants to match up on the Amigos better. Harry looks to be the swap for McGlynn but it'll be very interesting to see how Biggs is used. I'd have to imagine that Jetts would be the sub again.

... so can we assume his end of season trip will be to Rio?

Who have we had match up on Judd and Murphy in past games? I assume our best tagger goes to one of them? Have seen this season that Murphy doesn't respond well to hard tagging but with Judd showing big form last week is he the tagging priority tomorrow night?

Biggs play on Gunston Rd23? Did alright, back him in. Though Duigan is a bigger build. so maybe not a matchup the swans will want.

Likely that Duigan will try to pick up Malceski in a defensive forward role. Biggs might have to take one of the amigos. Perhaps Garlett.

Benny aint gonna miss much this year.

I will be speechless if Longmire plays Bolton and McVeigh and we find out that they are truly injured.

Your speech may remain intact if this article is accurate.... it has McVeigh as extremely doubtful ....

Even talk of dropping White if it's wet....I doubt that will happen.

So if McVeigh doesn't play as is being suggested who ones in and who plays in his spot?

Expect a late change a tall out for us 4 talls too many against a shortish Carlton.

Especially when you watch what Port is doing to Geelong. So which tall goes out I assume Lamb would be the in.

I'm considering starting a drinking game for every time someone says "lower his eyes" during tonight's commentary.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Too right the cliches are getting worse and Bruce has become a total joke they really need to clear half this lot out BT and Bruce first.
