You know what I am not feeling flat anymore, we are still alive and playing in a semi final I am now excited which will turn to nerves tomorrow. Go Swans let's show em.

My comment on this is at least it can't be a Hawthorn Geelong grand final. Hope the pre-lim is brutal.Comment

... so can we assume his end of season trip will be to Rio?

Who have we had match up on Judd and Murphy in past games? I assume our best tagger goes to one of them? Have seen this season that Murphy doesn't respond well to hard tagging but with Judd showing big form last week is he the tagging priority tomorrow night?

'Cometh the man cometh the moment' and in the case of Adam Goodes 'Cometh the champion cometh the moment'.
'It doesn't get better than this'
'he turns on a sixpence'
'Just awesome'
'You've gotto love that'
too bloody many to mention.

sad that port lost tonight, gee Cats get lots of frees and many of them should have gone the other way. Cats players just threw the ball when they got tackled tonight and if the umpires were at least decent they would be penalised.
But to business. If Maca doesn't play then Lambie will. We do not need to get rid of a tall! That has not been the problem it has been our delivery and game plan. We were without the three talls in the forward line against them in round 14. White had to play second ruck, never a strong point in AFL for Jesse, just a little short. Mumford was injured. I think we can expose their lack of height here. What is more Jesse and Pykie are very mobile and their defenders are very susceptible to very tall mobile forwards especially on the lead.Comment

I've said it before and I'll say it again - umpires are biased on a consistent basis. There was even an article on the AFL website talking about all the money the AFL lost due to last week's results. As if the umpires aren't fully aware of this.... Tonight's match just felt like the umpires went, "OK, enough of this Port circus. This could get serious - they might win this. Time to take care of that." And they did several times when the match was in the balance. It happens all the time.
I hope there are 44 people reported for serious offences in the Hawks/Cats pelim.

Well you won't have to listen to Bruce or BT anymore, nor their enablers. Will that be cash or credit card?
These people get paid big bucks to do something that they are terrible at. Why can't they pay someone else who is good at it?
And the special commentators they have on....seriously, good footballer rarely = good commentator. Nick Riewoldt, Nick Maxwell, Barry Hall, Steve Johnson. Give me a break.
Respect to Port. Like them a lot. They remind me of another team a little bit, but I can't quite put my finger on which one....."Take me down to the Paradise City where the grass is green and the Swans win pretty."Comment

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

I thought Port were robbed of that by the umpires, I'd be furious if I was a power fan. Tricky game next week for the umps, and I can already hear the commentators describing it as the match that should have been the gf.Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.Comment

Well Saturday morning in Sydney and it has been raining overnight. Looks like more rain on the way.
Don't forget, tonight could be Jude's last game.
Why isn't B Jack playing if they have to drop a tall.

I have "real male" drinking games - you alternate between a glass of buttermilk and a raw egg throwback.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

I was barracking for GEELONG to win because I thought if by some magical transformation, that Sydney reach the GF, then either side might be a bit flat of a torrid match the week before. But on the play of the umpires, I thought Geelong where the benefits of some really questionable free kicks, particular in the last quarter. But Geelong always seem to get a great go from the umps, remember when we played them?Comment
