Not much cred with that list. Franklin is #2 without a game, Craig Bolton misses the list altogether??

Jason Ball was a pretty handy trade too. As was Mumford. And Jolly. And Morton. And Mattner. That list is full of @@@@.

Buddy was good in the press conference, took a while to get going but became more relaxed the longer it went. Got the impression he just loves his footy and is looking forward to a new challenge.

        The Buddy effect.

Lance Franklin will help Sydney's bottom line

BUDDY Franklin has had an instant impact on the Swans bottom line with his arrival creating unprecedented membership inquiries.

The day after he signalled his intentions to join the red and whites the Swans office had nearly 500 fans expressing interest in becoming members.

The extraordinary number was more than three times the previous best day in their 31 year history.

Buddy looks good in Red and White. Imagine if Coca Cola sponsored him!!!! Hawthorn would just die from the irony

It's good he's having an effect on fat bottoms as well.

I know I missed the entire finals series, but everytime I see a Hawthorn sticker on a car I have this weird feeling that we are the winners here, and they are the losers!!!

There should be a new drink called Buddy Cola.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

If we could persuade AJ to part with it, I'd love to see Franklin in 34. Who wouldn't want to run around in the number immortalised by the great Troy Luff?

Regarding Buddy's number.......surely the early call of "Thirteen!!! Thirteeeeeeeeeeeen!" is still the best - especially with Dre almost certainly going.
24 is available. We could say he's gone one better.
