He's doing OK. Remember he is an all-rounder not a specialist.

I've heard that he has had a weakness for the odd hook, er maybe I shouldn't have told everyone.

Good bye and good luck Mummy. Sorry it had to be this way. Enjoy the exciting team around you. I hope your injuries ease off. As said on field he was the best fit for them over buddy.

Hello Buddy and our own excitement machine.

Its a good question. With the way the allowance is intended you'd think the $1mill figure would be the one to match.

Thinking of the COLA another way, if we dont pay our players extra they are earning less than their Melbourne counterparts. So the offers of $1mill from Melb or $1.1 from Sydney should be on par.

If the Swans advertised that they were only giving Mummy 2 years then this would have been a red flag to everyone else that he had a possible serious problem.
Typical clueless stuff from them, but not surprising.

The Swans could have tried to talk Mummy into negotiating with a Melb club, but appear to have respected his wishes to go to GWS, which from the perspective of negotiating a good trade could not be a worse choice for us given he can walk to the PSD and we get nothing.

Is that doing the wrong thing and being disrespectful??

Mummy said he would continue living in Bondi unless the travel became too much.

He said that it was unfortunate he was leaving Sydney and sounded disappointed he was leaving Sydney.

Sydney never sat him down to tell him they were letting him go. So he and his agent had an offer from GWS. That deal was increased when Buddy joined the Swans.

Has spoken to Longmire and the other guys and there are no bad feelings.

Hawthorn would have to march the $1.1 mil. The easiest way to deal with the COLA is to forget it even exists, which it probably won't for very much longer.

So we really did hang him out to dry. I feel a bit bad that the club wasn't a bit more forthcoming with him, but I suppose that's life and Mummy will still be fondly liked by the Swans faithful.

I thought they put a contract in front of him with less years than he wanted. Stale mate proceeded for months, swans seeming adamant to not budge. Us in talks with Buddy, him in talks with GWS. And we now see the end result.

                                Am I way off?
