NEAFL 2014 Round 3
Sydney Swans Reserves v Queanbeyan Tigers
Sunday 13th April 2014 9.30am
Sydney Cricket Ground
Match being streamed Sydney Swans v Queabeyan Tigers - YouTube
The Reserves, like the Seniors, will be playing their first home game of the NEAFL season against 2012 Eastern Conference Premiers the Queanbeyan Tigers. The Tigers are in a transitory state, having lost star players Kaine Stevens (SANFL) and James Kavanagh (retired) as well as having head playing coach Kade Klemke transfer some of his duties to fellow player Josh Bryce in an interesting coaching arrangement. They were surprisingly thrashed by the new-look Sydney Uni outfit on their home ground and will be smarting from the big loss.
The Reserves meanwhile played a very competitive UWS outfit and were just pipped at the post, suffering a unfortunate 8 point defeat at Spotless Stadium last week. With 18 listed players in this week's squad, they should go into the match as clear favourites. The last time these 2 sides met in Round 9 2013, Jesse White kicked 10 goals and Tom Mitchell had 52 touches.

He gets a much needed runout in the midfield. He has posted big numbers in his past few NEAFL matches and should excel alongside Lloyd, Robinson, Marsh and Perris.
