Year to date Stats:
Aliir has as many possies as BJ.
BJ about half the possies of Lloyd or Robinson.
Towers stats very unimpressive.
Naismith an absolute standout for hitouts but also leading tackles by 60%
Robinson top for clearances.
Biggs is rebound 50 king
Dick leading marks.
Zac unimpressive
Last game stats.
Aliir twice as many possies as BJ
Lockyer most tackles
Bird a total standout 50% more possessions than anyone else at 47
Mitchell 17 HO not a bad start.
As far as replacements for seniors, Bird is obvious and apart from Naismith and maybe Membrey& Biggs there are no other obvious choices.Promising efforts from Aliir,Robinson, Lloyd, Dick, and Mitchell though. We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!Comment

Lloyd and Robinson are playing in the guts. Of course they're going to get more possessions than the likes of Towers or Jack, playing more of a half forward role.
That said, Jack's form has been so scintillating that he is screaming out to be picked. Harry has his place in the seniors at the moment, and it's his for the keeping at the moment. I wonder if someone like Jack is - sub-consciously - trying to prove he's a senior player, rather than knuckling down and concentrating on the team things (especially the hard running and pressure acts) with a mindset that he's a core part of the reserves team. You often see senior players (or fringe players dropped back down to the reserves) almost try too hard for a few weeks, as if trying to prove that they should be in the senior team. Once they adjust to being part of the team they're playing in, they invariably play better footy. This was certainly the case with someone like Buchanan, once drifted onto the fringes of the senior team. Armstrong is another.Comment

There is a lot of talent in the side, but a lot of it is still very young and inexperienced. Form will fluctuate but consolidate as time goes on. I can see at least 8 future regular senior players from the side, if not more.We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!Comment
