Undy the NEAFL is a professional organisation not a volunteer body or NGO. The Streams have been a disaster this year. The Reserves v Suns game replay cut out vision half way through the last quarter and left only audio. One stream didn't happen at all. So far not good. I am not sure who does the streams but surely they would contract the job out. If it is volunteer it is a bit silly for a two state league.

Its interesting that when we do get a good stream there is usually only 50-60 people watching. If there were thousands watching I imagine by selling some advertising it would pay for itself. I can understand why they don't really bother too much about the streams when so few are interested. I suppose if the quality was better more people would watch.

Not sure what this is doing in the "Changes" thread.

Have you ever had bruised ribs? I have and it is really hard to breathe, very painful. Resting players to get them right is never a bad thing and if they carry those soft tissue injuries into a big game they might get injured even worse than they are. The other thing is the injury might be exacerbated in the Brisbane game due to Brisbane players knowing they are carrying those injuries into the game. Yes I am talking about players targeting an injured or sore player such as elbowing Kizza in the ribs constantly until he has to be subbed out of the game. Get the injuries right then come back. I notice Horse didn't even talk about Kizza, Interesting.
And fair play to, if you take the field you are fit enough. I'd expect our players to do the same (test it out, not haymaker punch it ). Hitting a player coming off injured is another story.

It is reported in the Herald Sun in the team injuries section that Jetta has a groin injury that has to be tested and that Tippett has a rib injury that should see him out for a further 1 - 2 weeks.

Jetta has a groin injury? That's the first we've heard which is not good... I would assume Brandon would come in for him if this is the case.

I wouldn't worry too much, it's the Hun. It's more likely to be Leroy or Neville Jetta....

It would kind of amuse me if he named his groin area either Leroy or Neville.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Out: LRT, Franklin In: Tippett, Reid. Need those two to get some treads on the boards before the Hawthorn game. Franklin is injured!

I'd rest Macca, Jetta and Franklin (all have niggles).
                      In: Mitchell, B Jack, Reid.

I'm not a fan of bringing both Reid and Tippett in on the back of giving Goodesy extended game time. Yes, its Brisbane but don't treat this game as a bye. If fit, either Reid or Tippett to play reserves.

Lance will have a "rest" against the Hawks I'd suggest....
"Lance" is not a dirty word

If we get into the top 4 this year it will be by the skin of our teeth. So we need to play a full strength team against Brisbane to get a win, and give our percentage a good kick along.

It'd be helped along if we beat the Lions and won the week after, too.

And that's the problem, the reserves have a bye this weekend.

Matt Cameron said Jetta had a bruised shin which will be fine for the Lions game. Why do we bother with a club doctor when the Hun knows so much more?

He didn't get asked about Reid which I take as confirmation that Sam is fit to play.

Great news that Tommy Walsh has recovered and will play in the next Reserves game.
