Whoever it was at the Swans that first suggested we pick up Derickx, I want to have your babies.

This might sound odd, but I don't think the team as a whole is playing as well as the scoreboard suggests. We've got two goals from 50m penalties, one which was soft and the other where the original free was softish. We've kicked a few arsey goals too (like the Derickx and Rampe ones) and are relying a lot on Buddy's supreme marking. A lot of the mids don't seem to quite have the intensity around the contest that we saw last week.

Other than Buddy, I reckon Bird has been the stand out. He just keeps popping up in contests and winning the ball.

It so different watching on TV compared to being at the game, you can't sense the play.

great first half, despite the usual whinging bombers fans here at the ground. We have to go on with it now and not give them a sniff - come on you swannies!

Does anyone think the Swans can rehabilitate Toby Greene? He looks at odds with GWS. If he gets through his court case should we take him out of Rozelle and get him across the Anzac Bridge to Bondi?

                    He can play!

I totally agree. I was thinking about making similar comments, but thought it would sound too critical. The Swans are playing pretty sloppy footy, as if they know the opposition isn't all that good and they can pick up the pace at will.

I imagine it will all sort out with GWS. I appreciate his right to appeal, but I have to agree with the talking heads at half time that it just sounds like he's been given some bad advice.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

When the TV commentators said there was breaking news , I thought they were going to say ASADA officials were waiting at the gate ready to serve 'show cause' notices to the Essendon players as they came off at half time!

The scoreboard suggests we are going ok, why scrutinize to hard, tell me who has been bad? And before anyone says Harry, how many ghastly stanton had....he is a magnet... I doubt he's had 10. Btw derix is playing game 12 ....not bad for a newbie
