    Another ordinary point.

The Swans are supported all over NSW, and all over Sydney, not to mention Melbourne...And the vast majority prefer the SCG.

So to suggest we are giving up our supporters, based on a few miles, is rubbish.

And an insult to the Swans, who have built their supporter base, and will grow it, by providing a great team and a great club .

Barry you can't relate political elections and footy, that's a ridiculous analogy. If they didn't give a stuff about the fans the club would go under. The players, members/supporters can't possibly be so wrong on this issue

It can't hurt our support in the Western Suburbs of Sydney to play a couple of games a year at ANZ. Ernie you really must get behind The Daily Telegraphs "Fair Go For West Campaign". The Swans are doing their bit and I hope they continue to do so.

Why should the Swans be involved in this? I know they are the Sydney Swans, but the AFL in their wisdom have given the west their own team. That's giving the west a fair go in my book. Whether GWS choose to play AFL matches at the Olympic Stadium should be for them to decide.

Like it or not ,the West have a team, and when they get up and going, they'll get some modest support from the West.

The Swans still have the East, the North and the South of Sydney to work on....Plus those AFL fans, from the West, that choose to support Swans....

And prefer going straight past the White Elephant all the way to the SCG...There's plenty of those already.

We also have an entire state to work on, plus of course, the ACT.

A couple of games at ANZ maybe the necessary evil to secure a good deal with the SCG, I can live with that. But it won't supply us with large amounts of support from that area.

Given the Swans are currently trying to water down the amount of games at ANZ, says to me they don't hold much currency, other than as a bargaining tool, in games played there.

Geez Ernie and Barry you guys are sounding like Waldorf and Stadler maybe we can all agree to disagree. By the way the Swans have supporters all over the country and across the world. If the powers that be want to play a couple of home games in London and it makes financial sense and spreads our brand so be it. By all means don't alienate our supporters but our front office has a pretty good record in making decisions that benefit OUR club.Anyone who went to Wellington last year will tell you what a great experience it was.

                A) ANZ and SCG both have their pros and cons
                B) ANZ will always be there on the side to keep SCG honest
                C) Manuka games will be Away games for Sydney, home games for a smaller Melbourne club who can afford to move their home games (Swans cannot!)
                D) PLAY THE BALL, NOT THE MAN. Don't be so mean to each other. It's un-Swans like

Barry and I have been having a spirited debate about the Stadiums.

Apart from the odd derogatory remark, we have both been playing the ball, as we generally do.

We've both been around here long enough to know how to handle ourselves appropriately.

I certainly don't need sanctimonious lecturing. I doubt Barry does either.

I've seen posts where you've said "Are you stupid?" and other posts where you tell people they're daft and other not-nice things like that. I actually generally respect your passion and knowledge but often you come off really mean. I thought I would just try and recommend that you stop being mean but obviously you don't care what people think about you. Mean is your badge of honour!

Maybe you should have a clicker in your pocket and click it every time you say something mean about someone's opinion, you'd be surprised mate

Ironically, your clicker would be going off right about now. You're "playing the man" and you're doing it with inaccuracies.

Firstly I've never called anybody stupid on here and never would. Slinging mud like that is extremely poor form of yours.

The only criticisms of mine you'll find on here, are of posts, not those who made them. Sometimes I use words like...ridiculous or rubbish, but they are directed at posts not people.

I don't know how to put multiple posts in this box.

But I re read my posts on this thread and other than one retort to Barry( referring to him being like a politician) responding to a derogatory comment he made, all my comments have been on

                            debate, about the Stadiums.

So if your going to get on your high horse and make accusations toward me, the least you can do is make them accurate.

I won't be responding further, your accusations unfounded and inaccurate.

I hate so much that phrase "play the ball not the man"
Let's replace it with "be excellent to each other"
