In 2006 the most expensive PF ticket at ANZ was $100. Not $170. So in eight years, the top category has increased at an annual rate of 7%
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Regardless of venue or teams $170.00 is way too expensive for any preliminary final ticket.

$20 GA on the top level is a great idea. But once again, because the final tickets are centrally managed by the AFL, I hope other markets don't become upset with initiatives to drive attendance in weaker markets.

Just had a look at Ticketek out of interest. All categories available and Cat 5 tickets are now selling in section 142-2

Someone made a video that captures a Ticketek like experience quite well:

I predict the crowd will be 19,127.
Naaahhhh .... as if you'd get so few people , at ANZ , on a wet night , for a knockout game , v North.

              Ohhhh.....waaiittttt :

That is too close to the Ticketek experience to be funny! Particularly the timing out while you are still trying to tick all their @@@@ boxes!

That's what it feels like, but at the Ticketek outlet in Sydney's CBD, they wanted you to answer a survey as well after the transaction.
The mild mannered man in front of me lost it then. You tell Ticketek to.......
"Would you like to do the survey Sir", they asked me.
I looked at the guy in the hoodie behind me, and replied
                  "No thanks, I'll pass"

Cat 5 tickets 142-2 I can understand, as it is the North Melbourne supporters end, and these would have only been available to north supporters yesterday morning. It is releasing the other categories yesterday afternoon at $45 when they weren't available in the first hour that makes one angry.

Mark Evans on 3aw said last night he was expecting 50000. Looks like a lot of free tickets to be given away. If it is anywhere near this I will be shocked.

                          ANZ tweeted the same number.

50000 would be a good crowd against norf.

would be remarkable given we got similar numbers against collingwood.

I thought you said we were going to get 60K to the Prelim Barry

I agree though, 50K would be a good crowd against the Shinboners, given the prices the AFL is charging.
