As per the last final, they dont release all the bays initially - even if you go to a ticketek outlet you cant pick any bay you want.

Try later in the week would be my suggestion.

Yep it pays to be patient sometimes. I remember getting tickets to the Carlton final last year during member pre-sale only to see better ones released a few days later

Considering the price of grand final tickets, I will happily wait for the Telstra half price tickets later this afternoon. Ridiculous that you can pay up to $170 for a prelim.

Stand by for my ranting that the Telstra offers won't load up hahahah

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Because all it is offering me is tickets on level 1, near the fence, in a bay barely in the category 1 region.
I had the same issue. I am in 107. I would have preferred level 4 but I am happy to be sitting on the wing like I do at the MCG. They really should allow you to choose which level you want.

There was also an AFL members allocation. I didn't want to choose that to make sure I sat with swans supporters! My brother did a test to see where those tickets were allocated and it is 105 which I think is where the north supporters will sit.

Went to Ticketek outlet at 9.06am, 5 people in front of me but couldn't get served until 10.00am. No tickets available in category 4 or 5 by ten o'clock and could only buy one ticket per barcode. It was really pathetic. Was not the fault of the girl that was serving as she was doing her very best.

In terms of what it has on offer, Ticketek is a monopoly. It is not run for the benefit of the customers.

Well the ANZ members are doing there part. Already level 4 is sold out. This didnt sell out for the 1st final, so if thats any indication, then we should be looking at a lot more people coming along ... 45 to 50K.

Ive got to say there is one bad thing about being an ANZ member, every guest you bring is top price. $170 per adult, $51 per child.

I reckon under 40,000 and that's still twice the last time.

By the number of people I saw walk away from ticketec in Sydney without buying any tickets this morning, probably not many. 25,000?
You charge double, be greedy, the AFL loses respect and the players lose fans..

I would have thought that spending $700 on 7 tickets would give me a chance of sitting somewhere remotely where I wanted to (section 113 or nearby). Apparently not. Thanks for nothing Ticketek. Dreadful "service"....

Wow. Myself and a friend managed to time two purchases of ten tickets such that they were placed in two rows directly in front/behind. 120-2. While not the best Cat-2 seats, not complaining for $67!
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
