At the Stella household today I have Young Henry's representing Sydney vs. Hawthorn Brewing Company, exciting times! I have some Riverside as well that I might start on, before moving onto YH's- a symbolic move to represent Buddy's flirtation with GWS before eventual signing with the Swans.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time -
Woke at 5am. Read all yarns on Age website. Went to beach for early swim. Had coffee. Had another swim. Read all of Hun yarns. More coffee and breakfast. Another swim. Four nervous pees. Now what....?'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment

I'm off to the SCG in a while to snag a prime spot on the field with blankets and cushions etc. Should be fun, and hopefully there's a good turnout, but it won't be a patch on being at the real G. Am jealous of everyone who's going today - don't take such a special day for granted and give it your all!Comment

It's going to be a great game, though if we lose I will never be able to watch it again (like 2006). Regardless of the outcome, I think it's important to remember some of the fantastic things to come out of the 2014 season:
- Buddy!
- The rise of Luke Parker
- The young ones breaking through: Lloyd, Cunningham, Jones, Biggs et. al.
- Minor Premiers
- The record "streak"
- Flogging Geelong

So nervous.
Hopefully our mids can get on top today! I'm tipping Hanners to get off the leash and win the Norm Smith medal and Tippett to kick the most goals.
Swans need to bring their manic pressure and tackle, tackle, tackle!
Go Swannies!!!!Comment

I watched the 2012 GF on the GF replay show on 7 this morning.
Man we were switched on in that last term.
If we are just as switched on we should have no troubles today.
We had a young Parker trying to make an impact.
AJ running around.
Pyke was doing his best, but has improved since then.
Backs are nearly the same as then.
Mids are only slightly different.
Fwds have 2 minor additions. Will it be the difference??Comment

Heading off to watch game. The presence of several hundred riot police in downtown Hong Kong could make it interesting. The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible newsComment
