Will the fact that Sydney MAY be on the slide (hope not) and Richmond MAY be on the rise have an effect on Josh Dunkley?
I mean apart from the other considerations i.e. Stay in Melbourne or any issues that Andrew may have with Sydney.

Richmond has no claim on Dunkley and would have to pick him up with a normal draft pick like any other club if he chooses not to go under F/S

That's good. Neither Mills nor Dunkley have been able to get the attention of recruiters during the TAC Cup.

I can't help but think that Dunkley will nominate us. Sure, he may have developed a connection with Richmond, but Richmond won't have a selection until the 15-19 mark (after academy and F/S selections prior are taken into account). If he doesn't nominate us then he could possibly go anywhere. What if he ended up in Qld or SA?

And this will hav absolutely zero impact on anyone at the AFL or Melbourne

They simply have no interest at all about the game outside the traditional states and they are more than happy for the teams in Qld to be perpetual cannon fodder that just provides TV content.

The problem with the NSW clubs is whilst they are not quite there yet they have the potential to both be super clubs that will challenge the status qou of teh AFL, can't see the Qld clubs ever doing this

Heard anything on Mills Ugg? I see he didn't play as a top up for the reserves this week and I think I read he pulled out of the Rams side last week after pulling up sore from the previous week in the ressies?
