We have 11 players on our list that have a brother also playing at an AFL club. I haven't done a check, but certainly this must be the most in the league.

11? I only count 10 (assuming you're not including players with retired brothers).

Newman's younger brother Josh plays for Frankston in the VFL, the same club that Nic played for last year.

On AFL360 last night Isaac was a guest, and guess who was filling in for Robbo. Yes that's right. Eddie Maquire.
At the end of the show Gerard gave Eddie one of the 20,000 T-shirts that are going to be distributed on Saturday night, and Eddie threw it back at him.

I didn't know Sam Naismith was from the Academy. Am I bad?

Maybe that was because Eddie didn't think he had potential so didn't bang on about the unfair advantage we had and was happy for us to pick 'duds' which left the better players for the other clubs (mainly C'wood).

Not saying Sam is a dud because he is not and I am happy for him to get his contract extension.

I didn't think Sam was academy, didn't he come down from Gunnedah and play for North Shore and impress enough to go on the rookie list a couple of years ago?
