The Herald Sun is a bit slow and has now jumped on the rumour. In Scott Gullan's section called The Score, as a "Whisper" it says...Clubs are aware of a star player from the Harbour City who has his house on the market and may be open to lucrative offers to return home at the end of next year.

Don't discount the Bulldogs who are on the rise and he has a family connection as his father played there and who are on the rise - would be great replacement for Mathew Boyd and of course there is the Demon's and at some stage you would imagine that Roos would love to leave Melbourne with a parting gift - I hope he stays - for me it is interesting that he is not in the leadership group.Comment

Haha at least they could make the rumour make sense..... why would he sell his house now if it wasn't until the end of next year that he wants to go home.....The Herald Sun is a bit slow and has now jumped on the rumour. His realestate agent may have advised him of a potential property market downturn in the area in the short to medium future (ie if he planned to sell later in the year) & recommended a sell instruction to optomistize capital gain?
Definitely not saying it's so, but that's a possible reason whyComment

I was under the impression that he was selling the place due to a break-up...?Twitter @cmdil

I wanna have a go ...
"Dermott Brereton reports that Dan Hannebury is a 100% certainty to be in a Melbourne club next season. His wife is homesick and has put an ultimatum they must move back. They have just completed a very profitable stint on The Block where they renovated their Bondi property, turning it from a freestanding toilet into a luxury apartment in 30 minutes. It sold on last night's finale for $6 million over reserve. Dermott also has it on good authority that Scott Pendlebury approached the Swans immediately after last year's GF and wants to move to Sydney because he really likes the club culture and also "so he can get a babe like Jesinta". His sources say the Swans will use a highly innovative 22 year contract (i.e. I'm not smart enough to understand it so they must be cheating) to dud the Pies. Finally, Dermott reports that in an unrelated development, Gilligan McLachlan will announce the Swans Academy will be renamed the McGuire Academy and the rules modified in the interests of fairness so that any player drafted from it to any Melbourne club can be done by using a Sydney Swans draft pick."CIA Agent to Policeman: "Have you ever had anti-terrorist training?"
Policeman: "Yes, I was married once."Comment
