Forgive my ignorance but what did they do to us? Might have been before my time !

Gee...No Judd(in the Goodes camp), Gibbs(overrated), Murphy(overrated).
They may have lost their highest rated midfielders....Though I'm not sure they would of posed much of a threat, given their form so far this year....
But what they have gained, is an element of surprise. I'm sure our coaches will be feverishly looking through 'Northern Blues' games, to see whom we might be up against.
Surely this will be a percentage booster.....Swans by 80+Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MTComment

Robinson in for Lloyd.
Debutants are fantastic for the sport, very exciting!

Lloyd is down as 'omitted'.
I'd like to think that's code for rested but I guess we'll find out when the 2's side is named.Twitter @cmdil

Lloyd also listed as an emergency so maybe he really was "omitted " rather than being restedComment

Seems harsh! Must have been given some sort of specific role last week that he failed in...you'd think he'd keep his place over Cunningham.
And yeh you're spot on about Robbo being the sub unfortunatelyTwitter @cmdil

Yeah, I think omitted is code for rested. He could probably play, but given his ankle issues in the last couple of weeks, they won't risk him unless there's a late injury.
Happy we aren't going in complacent with a bunch of changes but are at least taking the opportunity to blood a younger player.
Congrats to Robinson! Hope he kills it.Comment

Lloyd not named in the NEAFL, although they do get that wrong at times, so perhaps he is being rested.
PS: Malceski named in the Suns reserves side, so perhaps we will see him next week in the seniors.Comment

yes I thought this was a chance to give Lloydy a rest and blood Robbo. Congrats to Robbo, he deserves his go.
Pity they didn't think to give Big Mikie a rest. Last week 20 HO and 6 disposal was a pretty ordinary effort. I know they are a great team but Hale isn't exactly in peak form. Tip went missing too with only 10 HO and 9 disposals. Not happy Jan! Although I thought Tip should have played on Cegler and Pyke on Hale.
I would have loved to see Big Sammy in for a go. He is averaging 2.5 goals a game in the Twos and is by far the best ruck in the NEAFL.
Rohan looked injured last week but they are saying it was just cramp. If that is the case he needs to take stronger electrolytes. Those cordial drinks are useless, try something made up by a real quack and it works. One potassium tab, one spoon full of bicarb, one spoon of salt and a fruit drink to drown it all. Works a treat, never get cramp again. Mind you he will probably spend the late night on the dunny but what the hell the game will be over by then. Other than one goal and some good tackles he was pretty ineffective with only 6 disposals. He also missed some crucial tackles when he was suffering cramp and did nothing about going off (.5 of a quarter).
Most sides come to play after their coach gets sacked but I think this mob are about as close to a VFL team as could be. We still don't want to take the buggers easy. We need to really annihilate them to send a real message to the Carlton hierarchy as to just how far they need to go to rebuild. We need a percentage booster!! I know it will be a let down after last weeks match but we really need to keep the momentum up! Get some real score on the board.Last edited by wolftone57; 28 May 2015, 07:12 PM.Comment

Debutant! Exciting! Beers at Royal Albert from 4:30! Exciting!I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Shame that Jones has that minor knee issue, it sounded as though he was really building some solid form in the NEAFL.
Great to hear that Heeney is flying in his recovery though, after the AFL bye that will be 6 weeks out but you'd expect him to come back via the NEAFL. Sounds strange to say about a kid that's played a handful of games but we look much more potent with him up forward than without.Twitter @cmdil

Robbo played pretty well in the NAB against Freo. He wasn't disgraced at all. I think he will do quite well. Takes a really good contested mark one on one and occasionally a pack mark. Is quite quick and uses the ball well normally. So really looking forward to seeing him play tomorrow. I hope he starts and somebody else gets the 'Green Vest'.Comment

Jake Lloyd
Jake Lloyd dropped?
I hope it's just to rest his ankle, but Longmire didn't really touch base on why he was out.
I think he's had an outstanding season and has improved dramatically from last season.
I did have wifi problems when watching the team selection, so maybe Longmire said something I didn't get?Comment

Might be a little bit of both! I think he's comfortably in our best 22, already one of our best runners, ball users and decision makers.Twitter @cmdil
