I thought the same so checked and we should see some sun by noon. Cloudy with no rain this evening. Only 14 degrees though.

If you get a chance have a look at the last quarter. See how many times he featured in the play in the intense pressure. I was at the game and when I saw the replay I was surprised at how much he was involved. One of those players that don't seem to get noticed when you are at the game.

Yeah I thought the same thing this morning but I think he's having a change of heart. I'm in the CBD and the weather is slowly but steadily clearing quite nicely.

Some improbable late changes from the Guardian:
The Swans have beaten Carlton as a hobby for the last four years and unless the game format is changed to a retro hologram duel where Alex Jesaulenko plays on David Strooper, Greg Williams on Peter Filandia and Anthony Koutoufides on Sanford Wheeler, you can?t imagine that changing tonight.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

League to help Blues with coaching pick: McLachlan - AFL.com.au

Meanwhile, McLachlan all but ruled out introducing anti-tampering rules in the short-term after Damien Hardwick put them on the agenda on Thursday.

Hardwick stormed out of his mid-week press conference after persistent questioning about free agent Alex Rance and said there should be rules preventing clubs from talking publicly about end of season player movement.

"We can only make so many rules," McLachlan said, "and they've all been used to restrict Sydney."

Inserting those words was very wicked and I laughed like a drain.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Still really overcast. Feels like there might be rain around.

I've just been out (in the city). It was spitting a little.

I was not surprised Lloyd was omitted. It started a few weeks ago when he got injured and work rate and efficiency went down. I think a week out will do him good but knowing how driven he is he may not agree.

My preference is that it doesn't rain, so if you could please take care of that it'd be greatly appreciated.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

The clouds are gone and there's plenty of blue sky over the SCG. Should be a top night for footy!
