What do you mean by your own kind? And what kind might that be?

Good point Ludwig.... I was thinking that the original poster(Ampersand) and the re-poster (stevoswan) were white Aussies who didn't really like what happened 200 years ago by long dead convicts, but thinking about it, maybe they are our assimilated aboriginal brothers and friends that we all have out here in the suburbs.

The 'killing people 'crap from Brereton was awesome for its stupidity. Of course, Dermot is delighted with anything that spills from his mouth sees himself as the Mr. Knowledgeable of all things football, in fact, of all things'

McGuire's denial next day that he called Goodes' actions aggressive is more proof that his self promoting nonsense should be ignored. (The tape proved he lied)

Barry Hall blindly following the lead of his panel chairman was sad..for a man who stood up for himself so constantly on the field, he is proving to be a submissive pussycat around McGuire.

And, finally, McGuire's acknowledgement that he was involved (inadvertently, he claimed) in Goodes' racial abuse incident with the Collingwood suppoerter last year, doesn't hold water. He compared the man to King Kong...there's nothing 'inadvertent' about that.

The whole discussion was an embarrassment to the men involved and to Fox Footy.
Spot on Royboy. I'm finding the Foxtel panels unwatchable. McGuire knows no shame. He called SEN Saturday morning to deny he'd been critical of Adam, yet at half time on Friday night he said "We've never seen that before and I hope we never see it again". His talent for historical revisionism would do David Irving proud. As for Brererton, when he starts talking about anything Swans related I usually turn to another channel because he can't ever bring himself to do anything but criticise. He will ALWAYS take the anti-Swans position, guaranteed (I guess that's why Eddie keeps involving him in his ventures). Unfortunately, I broke this rule and kept listening to him on SEN on Saturday, only to hear him accuse Adam of a contradicting himself because he'd said, first, that he hadn't done the dance to retaliate to any abuse directed at him by the Carlton supporters, but then said that the dance was directed at the Carlton supporters. Clearly the fact that you can direct actions towards someone without those actions being retaliation for something else was beyond Dermott's meagre intellectual powers to grasp. The man is a cretin who displays it for all to see whenever a subject with any shred of nuance arises. However, he remains bloated with self-confidence because he's actually too stupid to realise what a dill he's making of himself. His stupidity actually works as a protective mechanism.

Must give some praise though to Rohan Connolly who was spot on in his analysis. It was also interesting to hear 3AW's call from the incident being replayed - all the commentators were saying how fantastic it was any pumping up Adam for doing it. Not even a hint of negativity at the time. Clearly not everyone finds the spectacle of an indigenous man doing an indigenous dance in indigenous round to be a confronting spectacle.

Oh dear, you really are scared, aren't you? By embracing Indigenous culture, and the 'entire' history of our country, good AND bad, I'm probably more Australian than you mate. I love my country, and ALL it's people, and I'll be staying thanks.......

Can we all please make sure we stay on the right side of "civil". Topics like this can stir strong emotions, whatever your perspective. That's fine, but please avoid from making unfair inferences, or attributing attitudes to posters beyond anything they've actually posted. And be respectful towards others, even if you don't share their point of view.

Posts that breach these basic courtesies will be deleted and warnings or infractions issued.

Adam Goodes Displays His Culture During Indigenous Round; Australia Implodes | newmatilda.com
Aboriginal people are welcome on the sporting field, particularly during Reconciliation Week. But best they keep their culture to themselves. Amy McQuire takes aim.

Sporting history has given us several revolutionary acts. From the iconic picture of African American athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos extending black power fists atop an Olympic podium, to AFL Aboriginal star Nicky Winmar lifting his jumper to confront racists with the colour of his skin, the power of our sporting heroes can?t be underestimated.

I remember Dermott once saying during commentary on a game that footballers are dumb. Clearly he speaks from personal experience.

I find it hard to fathom that Bolt actually believes what he has written in that article, surely he is just penning it to stir up controversy and attract attention. Similar feelings about Panahi and the ridiculous comments she made on Friday and over the weekend. The only thing worse than their comments and apparent viewpoints is the amount of people agreeing with them.

Eddie is an absolute disgrace and he needs to be stopped. Post-game on Foxfooty, it was clear that the others wanted to move on and talk footy. In truth, they probably felt uncomfortable talking about it. Eddie just kept going at it with stuff like "I'm not sure we want to see that, we need to be very careful with it". Then he'd say "let's not go too over the top on this".

He's a crafty, slimy piece of work and I hate him.

This is the worst part about the information age. Uninformed racist slime now have a medium to promote their uneducated and baseless opinions and in the main can do it anonymously. Totally gutless the lot of them.
