Just watched the above gem from Charlie. He is a genius. The first 1m:50s is gold! The rest is a masterclass in tearing apart and exposing the ignorant stupidity of the 'haters' arguments. Great stuff.......must see viewing!!

Just got back from Suns Swans game every time Goodes got a possession the crowd booed ,was there with my youngest ,he asked why they where doing this ! And it was so embarrassing to explain the reasoning . Its becoming a embarrassment from white Australians !

The Swans fans in my area tried very hard to drown out the booing - sadly goodesy is going to get it every where is say.

Yes, watching the replay, I was a bit surprised that the booing was actually so noticeable on the TV coverage, since I was amongst Swans fans cheering whenever Goodes got the ball and it was sort of hard to tell if there was much booing from the Suns areas.

The whole dance incident and reaction just shows how much passion our great game produces compared to the banality of soccer friendlies like Chelsea and tottenham

I have booed players before and i hope we dont sanitise the game to death by banning booing

Why on earth would Suns' fans boo Adam? Did they think they were being funny or clever - or did they really seem venomous? Either way, I agree with tasmania60 above. I too would be embarrassed - in fact ashamed - trying to explain it to someone and most particularly to a child. I find this exposure of Australian attitudes and behaviour very very depressing.

                It's becoming beyond pathetic actually.

That area is a redneck heartland so it's not overly surprising really

This first time it kind of sounded ironic and was commented as such by whichever FoxSports Muppet was on duty at the time.

But as the match wore on it became more and more like the rubbish he puts up with every week I Melbourne. I suspect it will also occur at the Gabba but I'd hope Weagles fans will show a bit more class when we play them over there given the mutual respect between the two clubs. It would actually be great advertisement for that club if their fans actively applauded him instead of booing given their rich indigenous heritage

I thought he played quite well tonight, he is starting to prove me wrong re his value in the team

Particularly the two goal assists - full of class.

Dwayne Russell's commentary about it was pathetic too.

This is becoming a rather shameful little chapter in our sport's history.

Dwayne Russell is awful. An utter pillock. That he gets to call games while there's no black commentators or female commentators, tells you everything you need to know about racism, sexism and meritocracy in our society

While it's in the media, he will be booed.
More about rebellion and taking the piss than anything else I'd say.
Eventually we'll get a bit of it in the first quarter until the novelty dies off when we are on the road.

I think that is probably on the money actually but in Melbourne it will have a bit more bite

Yeah, last night it kinda felt (through TV) that the crowd were kind of forgetting to boo until they heard a few and chimed it.
Others who were at the game may have heard it differently in their areas, but that's how it felt to me.
