I wasted two hours trying to get tickets as all seats appeared to be gone, only for good seats to appear the next day. I hate buying through Ticketek.
    + infinity !!!!!!!!!

I have been ripped off with just about every ticket I've night from them. Seat changes at short notice; unable to get 2 seats together (with heaps of single seats around ... why not sell seats next to each other instead of leaving a single seat?!; holding allocation of seats making it appear that ticket sales are strong; hour long waits on the phone; and my personal favourite ... charging me a fee to print my own ticket!!

    Ticketek? Ticketwreck more like it!

The only TICKETERECK office in the city is a tiny outlet buried in the bowels of Westfield . It's an a total challenge to find it .
There's a sub outlet I know near the entrance on George st, but they often tell you to go to the hidden cave.
it just shouldn't be this hard .

I won't be there this week, I am just thoroughly sick of the venue and the match day atmosphere so I'll be saving myself close to $100 all up and sit on the couch.

Yes I'm taking the soft option and it can be argued I am deserting the team but this is a year too far for me with that venue. Until now I have made the trek for all our ANZ games but grumbled and moaned but I have had enough and I just haven't been able to bring myself to go to any of them.

I don't think I am the only one in that camp and I look forward to seeing us play all our games at the SCG asap

They were giving out free tickets in Cronulla yesterday (double passes) and my friend got one .....

Hopefully Kieren Jack and Nick Smith will be back this week, replacing Sam Reid and Ben McGlynn.

I would also like to see Rose in for Gary Rohan, as he would surely get his hands on the ball at least once in a half of football. Sentiment and the occasional flash of brilliance seems to get Gary games and at this stage of the season the risk of him going missing or being injured is too great to carry. We already have Isaac Heeney on the park, who is also likely to injure himself with his kamikaze attack on the ball.

This is why we wait for the last minute.
Doesn't matter if they play a grand final at ANZ... you can always rock up and buy a great ticket just before the game.

I hope they give Rose a shot .

The goals are the big sticks, right?
Someone tell the midfield (and the backs).

Re ANZ.... I guess it depends a bit on where you live, but the place has never really bothered me. Obviously the SCG is superior, and ANZ doesn't look so good with so many empty seats, but as long as we win I don't care that much. The food choices are OK, the beer lines small, there is a footy ground with grass and posts, and our team is playing on it, how bad can things be? Even the train out to Homebush works OK. Anyway, only four games (or up to six depending on how we go in the 2016 home-and-away) and it'll be history.

As a Victorian, the main thing I find annoying about ANZ is its surrounds. There's nothing there! One pub which sells mid-strength turps at footy prices on gameday.

(Wilfully misinterpreting) - this is one of the things that doesn't happen at ANZ - there seem to be a lot of spots where you just don't pick up the crowd noise very well, not because it isn't happening, but because of the acoustics.

There are some good spots - think I was in a good one for the last game of 2002, and maybe when the Lions did us in a final, and now my regular seat is near ground level its OK, but there are a stack of dud spots.

3 goals as sub against orange witches hats in a well-won game does not make Rose the messiah for our finals campaign....

It's just a ground with twice as many seats as the SCG, and the maths of that dictate that your seat there is highly unlikely to be as good as the equivalent seat at the SCG. Maybe it is partly that the SCG is such a great ground to watch a game at that ANZ suffers in comparison.
I always found it amazing that the Swans/the AFL go so excited about two 70K plus crowds in 2003 (a H & A against Collingwood and the Prelim against Brisbane) that they signed a deal to play there for so long. Nothing wrong with taking a punt, but a 12 plus year deal always seemed a bit over the top. Like I said before, the place doesn't really bother me that much. And it has provided a few good memories,
the highlight of which was the 2012 Prelim against Collingwood and Jetta's awesome 100M run and goal in that game, that I've never gotten tired of watching.
