Hodge drink driving and then trying to break Wingards neck into the post just before finals, proved once and for all who are the AFL's lovechilds.

Sounds like the suspected 'incident' warrants at least some investigation, and if we certainly would have been well aware of the possibility of this occurring when we signed him.
Jono, this is no place for common sense. Please stick to the issue of Hawthorn.

Some posters had better be careful, or the paranoid's may get them.

No sanctions expected against Talia brothers for allegedly leaking Bulldogs' game plan

Here is the latest...Talia brothers both cleared of any wrong doing...Cheney admits his accusations, of collusion by the Talia's, were a joke....what a tool!

Bulldogs jumped the gun and have lost , hopefully, a top defender in the process....

While the AFL try to cover for them....With Adelaide and the Talia's understandably refusing to allow their dodgy press release.

It seems the 'VFL's boys club' knows no bounds. Very professional all round.

              What a sorry tale.

Really hope M Talia goes on to have a 'Ted Richards type' career .

No joke: Cheney to be warned for sparking Talia probe

That's an extraordinary finding. So pleased for OUR Talia. But what sort of trust would there be between the Crows' Talia and Cheney after this?? And the AFL come out of this looking more than usually ham-fisted.

I agree with you Ernie, hope Michael Talia blossoms at the Swans.

We should probably thank Kyle for helping us get Talia for next to nothing.

Absolutely ironic that the AFL have an 'Integrity Unit'.

Cheney obviously has a lot to answer for, but once that became clear, it is a disgrace if the AFL have acted as is being reported.

To be more worried about justifying their investigation, painting the Bulldogs in a better light, and insinuating contact between the brothers may have still been somewhat dubious - rather than just support the innocent parties with a clear "completely innocent" announcement, really says it all about how the AFL conduct themselves.

Totally shambolic and lacking in transparency I'd expect nothing less.....

for those that haven't watched M Talia play for the Dogs much .........he marks up on Nick R (first half only) against the Saints in a close game round 6 earlier in the season

at the beginning of the 3rd qtr WBs are up 64 to 15

I personally would start the game at the 3rd qtr as the Dogs were in a full press the first two qtrs and the Dogs backs don't feature as much in the footage as the Saints struggle to cope

2nd half Talia is loose as Nick R pushes up on the wing and Talia suddenly has a stack of small forwards running at him as the Saints get motoring

He has the added advantage of being a bit of eye candy as well. Not that that matters .....

Was watching a 2-14 game recently AG, thought he was relatively handy.
