You could say mcglynn had a good game this week but i think our side is better structured with towers in instead. The sum is greater than the parts.
I think the same of mcveigh. He may be a better player than jones or others on paper but we will loose more than we gain by playing him.

I'm a Jones fan, I love the way he plays and hope he holds his spot

Robinson played his best game and should hold his spot.

Hewett played a solid team game without getting any pill.

Benny will be better for the run.

      No change.
I'd have no problem with an unchanged side and McVeigh being eased back with half a game in the twos but I suspect Horse will make one change, just not sure which one

Will be interesting to see the reception that Tippett gets as this will be the first time he will play against the Crows in Adelaide. I'm sure they will still be holding a grudge!

I agree that towers needs to come in against Adelaide. Mcviegh back in through the ressies if you ask me.

I really like the balance of our team in rounds one and two so I would be happy with mcglynn back to the ressies again

The young guys need to keep their place for their confidence. They have been performing very very well

Jones and Mills we need to persist with

They are there because we need to have to very competent small defenders come finals time........there are some serious small forwards in the comp such as Bruest and Poppa that need to be contained

the defence will be a serious component of success and these two guys can grow a lot and they will start to become an important part of our transition against serious top4 teams

They've been waiting for this. I don't blame them either, if the boot was on the other foot we'd be doing the same.

I think the Crows fans will be over it by now. Josh Jenkins has emerged into a very good player who now plays at Tippett's level as a 2nd ruck. Tippett's leaving allowed Jenkens to emerge.

                      agree Churry

But i think its a fair point that if Mills and Jones are a strong option for the last 3 weeks and next game and they have big upside to be another level above in talent come finals time that is a very important ingredient also

we found our match ups very very difficult on the small forwards of the Hawks................and the Hawks are still the benchmark come finals time right now

to take Bruest, Cyril and Poppa we need more then Nick Smith Or Rampe

No we wouldn't - well some of us wouldn't. We don't boo Malceski and I don't think we will boo Jetta (certainly I hope not).

No, they're not. They are a vengeful lot.

There's a whole thread on the Crows BF page dedicated to how they're going to boo Tippett and Dangerfield. They can't wait!

Adelaide is a bit longer but the SCG is actually the larger ground, albeit very marginally.

Hard to predict the changes for this week. Hewett had low numbers but I thought he ran hard and played his role quite well. McGlynn's first half was filthy and it looked like he'd be straight back out to the magoos, but his second half was an improvement. I'm still not sold on McGlynn holding a spot in the team long term, as his pace is down and his disposal is below average. Unless they have genuine sorness/injuries, I definitely don't think we should be resting players just for the sake of it.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but at least it's current. Interesting comment after the game from Giants coach Leon Cameron, ??Those that wrote off the Swans at the start of the year jumped the gun. They?re a top-four team, no doubt about that,?? Cameron said. Well.......the Vic press just never learn, do they?? Let's hope we can back this up on the weekend. Go Swans!!
