Not necessarily, he could just be an emergency. But if he was selected I wouldn't be surprised if he was asked to play up the field instead of in defence. For example, he could take Hiscox's spot on the wing.

Ah, I didn't know Hiscox played last week .......
Ugg, were you surprised by Hiscox's selection last week given how he doesn't really impact at NEAFL level?
Harry Marsh upgraded for Robbo's LTI so expect him to be selected this week.
Looks like selection is going to be very interesting tonight. Marsh for the back line so who is either getting dropped or moving upfield?
Wow. For the first time this season I think I will guess the changes correctly.
I can't see anything other than Marsh replacing Richards. There are plenty of match ups for Marsh in the backline. I would also assume that Rohan is not quite ready.
I don't Marsh would be upgraded unless he was playing seniors this weekend.

On the face of it very much so but after considering the withdrawal of BJ and Leonardis they didn't have much choice. In the end they went for his athleticism over Rose's footy smarts.
Michael Talia has been placed on the LTIL which will blow out his recovery to 15 weeks, which is not at all unrealistic for a Lisfranc injury. By the time he 'might' return, the tough part of our fixture will be over. It does open the door for yet another upgrade; perhaps Newman will be next.
It's been a week of serious injury news all around. The Talia news is mild by comparison and our injury list is looking relatively short. It looks that Ted will be with us for a while.
Good changes for this week. Hope Ted gets back to his best.

Reason: Changes for week
So Marsh must be the travelling emergency. Would rather see Marsh play considering Rohan's lack of footy and performances in the reserves but let's hope he shows up!
3 in's are all go'ers - good sign.
Of the outs:
- Hiscox = waste of time;
- Papley - needed some time out;
- Towers - I'd persevere (with various times in reserves though.)
Why upgrade Marsh just to be an emergency? Surely there are guys on the senior list who can be an emergency instead of Marsh. Now we have to pay a senior list salary for at least a week when there is no real need to do it.
I can only assume there will be a late out to get Marsh in otherwise I don't understand the logic in upgrading him.
A thought maybe, throw laidler up forward and play Rohan back, his pace and size can work down back. Getting third man to contests and having smooch, mills and McVeigh cover the smalls. Laids is a strong mark, good kick for goal and a move maybe not expected. Another factor is we need tippo in the fwd line more, he's more value clunking a few. Sinclair looks sore but make him hit the r
Hawks rucks, they aren't that strong there and tips and better fwd. if sin lairs knee gets to bad, bring in Naismith, he can play.
If not, heeny one out in the square, he is brilliant one on one in all situations.
