Good quarter. Parker, Kennedy and Hannebery have been very good. Mills has been excellent in defence. Would be nice to see Buddy again.

Towers has no footy smarts, how does he still get senior games? He got the free kick then played on and hospital hand passed straight to Hanners who was immediately tackled after taking possession. Surely we have superior/smarter players in the reserves we could bring in?

Can't believe we are in front after the way we played that quarter. We seemed to be chasing them all the time instead of being first to the ball.

Our forwards were playing too far up the ground and the mids had to stop in the centre as there was no target.

Tippett is going well after being out for so long.

Hardly! North had the better of that quarter but we are still on top in midfield and at the clearances. Whichever team cleans up their forward 50 entries will win the game.

That last bit of play by Towers is why he cops criticism. He hangs on to the footy, tries to finesse and get through traffic rather than feed it off to the 4 players around him, gets a free for high, plays on when it wasn't the thing to do, and turns it over.
