Hi All, I am a bit new to the Membership system. I am a Vic Family Swans member and I go into Priority two ballot for any Grand Finals tickets sold(if we make it).
I was told that there are 7 categories but category 6 and 7 tickets are hardly worth it as you are placed into the very top row out the back. Has anyone had experience in this area?

I experienced the 2014 GF from standing room. Couldn't see the top of kicks, but still felt that I wasn't too far from the action. The main thing was that I got there three hours or more before the bounce so as to be at the front of the standing area, so ended up standing for about six hours. Wouldn't do it again?have bought the GF seat guarantee ever since.

I'm starting to get a little more confident for this match looking at the stats from our Round 12 match against GWS where they smashed us. Our only heavy loss for the season.

Kurt Tippett went down early so we were with only Sinclair against big Mumford for two quarters (Yikes). And Rohan was so crippled he had to sit out the last quarter. This was very telling on the scoreboard as we stuck with them up until the 3rd quarter. After that, it just blew out.

We have an extremely different squad this time around too.

Of the players who were playing in round 12 that weren't in round 23:

• Sinclair
• Rose
• Jones
• Laidler

Players who will most likely face GWS instead:

• Hewitt
• Allir
• X Richards
• Naismith

With the emergence of Naismith as a proper tap ruckman and Allir being discovered as a brilliant defender and a vital cog in our backline, I would say we have the edge going into this one.

The only worry is that we seem to play poorly after byes.

It's hard to tell what's left by looking at their website. I might have to do a crazy thing and try to talk to a real person at an outlet.

From a different perspective....looking at the 22 we took into our last final (v North 2015) there will be 9 new (or different) faces. Much change in a short period of time.

We were in 'gold' seating and had that sort of view. We were just to the right of the standing area....complete rip off in my view. Couldn't see the entire ground and like you, couldn't see the top of kicks.

1300 795 012 - alternative number, you'll have much better luck getting to the automated system (will explain how you get around that below).


How to skip the automated option maze and speak to an agent
Wait until you get to the prompts then do the following:

1. Say "operator"
2. Say yes when asked to confirm that you want to speak to an agent
3. You'll be prompted about the reason, say 'New booking'
4. You'll then be asked about more options, ignore and just say 'operator' again.
5. You'll be transferred through but expect to wait on hold for a while.

It's worth the hassle if you can't get to an outlet as they'll have access to seats that aren't coming up online.

Agreed. I reckon that affected our play greatly. It may have even caused Tippett's and Rohan's injuries.
