When was the last time we didn't bring in an established player?Chillin' with the strange QuarksComment

with a day an dbit to go, towers leaving it late to decide what he is doing...unless between him and the club and they are seeing the interest, if none then he will stay...as isnt he uncontracted?
i wouldnt be surprised if we are doing a sleeper deal with a player....Comment

Two years ago. We lost Malceski, Biggs and Membrey and didn't bring any established players in to replace themComment

Can't see us doing too much now, offload Nanks and Xav for some token pics, maybe try and horse trade up with teams needing academy/fs picks and hit the draft. We don't have any specific positional needs which is a good position to be in
We'll get a 4th ruckman in on the cheap I'd imagine
Having said that, our boys do have a habit of springing surprises on us supporters at this time of yearComment

From Trade Talk on AFL site
ASHLEY BROWNE: Dean Towers and Toby Nankervis have yet to re-sign. Nankervis wants to cross to Richmond, while we expect Towers will stick with the Swans. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest there.Comment

Richmond have just traded pick 6 and their 2017 2nd rounder for Prestia and this year's pick 24. What a terrible trade for Richmond. They are complete fools. No wonder they never go anywhere. How did we only get pick 14 for a player better than Prestia? It will be interesting in seeing who is available at pick 6. I'm pretty sure that either Ainsworth or Tarranto will be there and I rate both better than Prestia.
Anyway, I hope Richmond's pick 24 or 27 is part of the Nanka trade. We should hold out till the end. Richmond always cave in.
I'd say Nanka + 39 + 52 for picks 24 and 46 would be okay. We don't need more picks, just better ones.Comment

because @@@@ing Mitchell would only go to the Dawks. If we could have played off a couple of teams against each other we would have (probably) come out so much better. But because footballers get to choose their destination now ......"Fortunately, this is the internet, so knowing nothing is no obstacle to having an opinion!." Beerman 18-07-2017Comment
