Positives -

* We don't have to sit through another Grand Final loss this year.
* We have missed the finals only twice this century.
* We have already made the finals half as many times this century (15) as we did during the whole of the 20th century (27).
* AJ has returned to playing for the first time since 2012 and we should see him in the seniors next year.

Positives only Barry, positives! I live in Adelaide, nothing positive about a Crows flag, be fawningly unbearable all summer :-(

Positives: huge effort to get back from 0-6. Some great highlights this year: I had the privilege of seeing the last-gasp Rnd 14 win over the Bombers and Buddy's 10 goals vs Carlton. The win in Adelaide was huge too.

Biggest positive is that with a few changes we can be a serious contender for next year.

Sinclair might actually be a better forward/ruck than Tippett.
Towers has worked out how he needs to play to make a strong contribution.
We have pretty strong defensive unit that should only get better.
Reid played (almost) a whole season.
The newbies got BLOODed early in the season.
Hayward has shown a lot in his first season and looks to have a lot more potential

Sinclair need to be more consistent. Also of concern was his two breakout games at FF were both at the SCG.
His FF'ed-ness is unproven at bigger grounds.

Positive is that we weren't the only sides to crash out of contention with a 6 goal+ defeat. Not only us but Crows, Geelong & GWS all went out ignominiously.

A very strange finals series and a very strange Premier. Don't think we need to be too disappointed with our last game, I sense we are as big a chance as the other likely favourites and with the longer lay off and no serious operations to ease back in, we can attack pre-season better than we have for a long time.

Buddy's injury didn't help much. Neither did our selection. But enough griping for this thread. The future is looking pretty good.

Made the finals after a 0-6 start.
Got to see some of the second & third tier players really start to hit their stride.
Did better that the dawkes & @@@@ingwood.
And Buddy won the Coleman.
