He's bleating like we locked him out of the rooms completely. Maybe our media people were too polite and didn't explain it bluntly enough - "you can interview whoever you want, BUT WE DON'T WANT A JABBERING MORON WANDERING AROUND THE ROOMS RUDELY INTERRUPTING PLAYER'S CONVERSATIONS WITH SPONSORS, SUPPORTERS, FAMILY AND EACH OTHER, so just let us know who you want to speak to and we'll arrange that in a professional way".
Even Channel 7 mock him and make a joke out of what he's doing. We really should lock him out of the rooms in future if he's going to react the way he has.Comment

I would bet clear majority couldn't care less about 'Roaming Brian'. Taylor is a deluded individual. Why should the players haveto play the fall guy for his self centred interviews while they are winding down from the game. Case of invasion of privacy to satisfy one guy's ego. Swans always provide players to be interviewed one on one in an appropriate space. Now he's insulted us for being boring, club should stick to its guns. Or maybe we should just ignore his juvenile attention seeking. He's bleating like we locked him out of the rooms completely. He was allowed in - he, like any other report, was told that he could interview whatever player he wanted, and it would be organised. He was just told he wasn't allow to wander around like the blundering fool asking questions willy nilly. I really can't see how its not a BT inspired storm is a tea cup."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Spot on MCS- he's the centre of attention now, just how he likes it. Swans shouldn't waste any energy on him.Comment

I've never heard of this! How cool would that be - to just listen to the sounds of the game and the crowd and no commentary. I never knew there was something more sophisticated than complete muting. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

Really miss his commentary still, even after all these years. His call of the 2005 Nick Davis game is simply amazing. Taken from this world far too soon

I think with the 2012 Grand Final DVD you could choose the commentary (either Channel 7, or a couple of radio commentaries). Better to watch games with radio commentary (if there isn't a lag)Comment

You used to be able to choose between commentary, crowd noise or umpires on the original Fox Footy. Plus at first fox put their own commentary on which ch7 complained about n it was stopped.
There was a petition to bring it back

Just found this comment posted on the Essendon board at BF:
Pissed off at how much McAveny and Brian Taylor barracked for the swans and all night. Seriously unprofessional. All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)
