Have to give credit to Hawthorn. Tactically they are well drilled and have the Swans a little spooked. Reckon we're missing the organisation of Lloyd in the backline.

Game far from over. Half-time is a good opportunity to reset. The Swans need to start running a bit more and taking a few risks.

I though that as well, Buddy was blocked while on the mark. Surely that's not allowed? If it was Buddy who was assisted by a block for a shot it'd be a free against us for sure.

Look like a side that's been outcoached to me. Longmire has a lot of figuring out to do. Bombing it into 50 is a disaster against Hawthorn who can move it so well. And the way they put Roughy and others on the ball is screwing our defence.

So busy keeping Mitchell's possessions down they are forgetting about the other 17 players

Lloyd could be our most important player. Think Hanners is trying to play that role, but their pressure is making life very hard for us.

We have been woeful but are playing against 25 as well which is making life tough. We really are rattled though and haven't got into our groove at all. Really missing Lloyd coming out of the back, and the Hawks tactics are very much mismatching our defence.

But one can't excuse some of the utterly dreadful umpiring either. Look at the Burgoyne goal after the free kick for HTB on Kennedy when he got crunched the exact second he got the ball.... or the Parker HTB in the first quarter. Or the clear pushed under the ball on Sinclair in Q1, or the absurd free against Heeney for another perfectly executed (and well timed tackle), or the free Parker should have got when he got hit by an arm to the nose.

Even time we play this team of absolute bellends they get so much fall their way....

Looking like a bottom 4 rabble at present. Longmire needs to reset quickly or we're done.

I assume one of Robbo or Foote are tagging Mitchell because they are unsighted otherwise. Just hope Mitchell doesn't cut loose after half time if they can be this far in front without his input!

Longmire has no idea how to beat Hawthorn. Another dumb ass plan 3-5m circles with 6 players in it.

Hawthorn will always beat us on the outside as their spacings are great and they react on plan and voice knowing where everone is.

We catch, look, think and try to dispose the ball we 14 defenders.

The few times we've taken command we have chewed them up through the midfield for pretty easy goals in the end/marks in the forward line - like we did earlier in the season. But as you say we need to take more risks, try and get the game on our terms more. We definitely are missing Lloyd down back - our defense is looking shaky to say the least.

We will still win so far the issue is we have been outcoached by Clarkson. For the first time this year since round six I feel we are out coached rather than out skilled.

I'd like an explanation as its a tactic the Hawks have used for 2 years against us, on multiple occasions to great success. I don't understand how it is permissible within the rules as they currently stand. But as I say, I don't know the rules in that space that well, and would love to see an explanation exactly of what is allowable and what isn't. I just can't see how that is allowed, well apart from the fact its in a game involving Stevic and the Hawks...

We need to force the stoppages, play man on man. We can absolutely win, but need to play the game on our terms.

Foote and Jones totally useless; Haywood as always get a goal but is unsighted after that.

If he can't provided forward pressure he shouldn't be in the team.

Maybe Jones is going; good! Started to remind me a Jetta.
