Yes, he's been one of our best, and hopefully that goal is a bit of a momentum changer. We did seem to be getting a bit more physical in that quarter and were starting to get back on top, but a run of behinds meant that we didn't really cash in.

His decision making is definitely elite. He has been very good so far and he worked so hard to work the length of the ground to take that final mark. Clutch kick too.

Hayward too. As much as he does some good things he fumbles and drops some crucial basic marks that either put us under pressure or turn it over! He as a rule is a decent mark for his height so he really needs to get that out of his game to get to the next level.

Our inability to hit a target under pressure by hand or foot is killing us. Our skill levels look a level below the Dogs. At least we can only get better.

Some comments from the AFL Live match feed:

"Jarryd McVeigh leads all players on the ground with 168 metres gained this term at 100 per cent disposal efficiency. However the other five players on the ground to have gained at least 100 metres this term are all Bulldogs."

We really have to lift our workrate.

"Despite the Swans dominance in the ruck, where they have won 18 hitouts from 31 contests, including eight hitouts-to-advantage to two, the Bulldogs have won twice as many clearances than their opponents in the first half (16-8)."

Some centre clearance improvement would be handy.......Come on Swans!!

Yes I thought so...very hard for him if he had no pre season, I think he's doing well considering....I would expect him to get better each week

Yes, in both his games, he's been Dan the turnover man. Perhaps until he proves he can hit a target again, there should be a team rule that says, if he wants to have a possession, then he's going to have to get the ball himself.

Yes, need to improve our clearances. And only 18 tackles in the first half, isn't good either.

"Sydney have lifted their kicking efficiency early in the third term, going at 100 per cent (83 per cent in their forward half) compared to the Bulldogs 40 per cent. This has allowed the Swans to spend 62 per cent of this quarter in their forward half."

                          Excellent!

A Bulldogs player appeared to punch Papley in the face whilst he was pinned to the ground..either that or an eye gouge..either way..just ewwwww..
