        Beyond the Ronke

Hayward is such a beauty. Florent keeps growing. Grundy terrific. Jones is having such an impact this year. Lloyd sensational. McCartin did so much right.

I don?t think we will win the flag this year but the 18-23 yo brigade looks terrific.

McVeigh is a great reader of the pay but the game has past him. He's just too slow and prone to terrible errors.
If we didn't have the youth coming through I'd probably keep playing them but at the moment they're taking positions that can be filled by our younger players.
Did you actually watch the game? McVeigh is possibly still our best user of the ball. He may be slow but his use of the ball is elite

Hayward going back with the drop kick set shot, similar spot to the one he tried to banana last week. Nice to see he's learning

Florent had a lot touches just outside our defensive 50, often under pressure and I thought he acquitted himself very well.

Bit worrying when McVeigh and Cox don't know who to pronounce your surname...

agree never thought much of him & his heart never seemed to be with us and he had this attitude of entitlement about him - the pre game interview proved it.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Parker and who? Will Parker go for that? I can see it going either way.

On a less positive note, Heeney really needs to find himself and step-up. He is going to be a foundational player for this team and he has been less-than-stellar this season, to say the least.

I agree with that. He did start well tonight, looked like he was on fire but it went a bit pear shaped after the first quarter for him. We need him at his best......

Who the hell knows with the MRP re Parker

And Hayward is oh so good and such a smart footballer. The call we made to dig into that draft and get both him and Florent will pay off big time for the next decade.

                                Are you joking re Heeney.

He made two bad calls in the 3rd quarter. But right now he?d been leading our B&F.
