Swans chat Changes for Round 20 Swans v Pies

Thought I'd get this thread started as it usually is well under way by now.

2 changes at least to bring some experience back into the team, assuming Macca & Jack pass fitness tests. Grundy could another out if he is still "crook". Like to give O'Rordan & Dawson further opportunities as they show potential despite both having a quiet game.

    OUTS: Jones & Fox
    INS: McVeigh & Jack.

McHack can't be ready to play. Putting hardware in takes longer than a few weeks to get over.
I'd hate to see him play and get more severely injured.

Doesn't matter who comes in or out. We're cooked.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I'm trying to decide if I can face a trip to watch us get humiliated by Collingwood on Saturday.

OK - who's available in the reserves to take a gamble with?

        Stoddart
        Maibaum
        Pink

Although, I only see one or changes this week, we need at least 3 or 4.

When Macca did his shoulder against Geelong, I remember Roosy saying players these days can comeback in 4 weeks from those injuries (with inserted plate). Club last week said Macca was progressing well & will be tested this week for senior selection being the 4th week.

I admit the side does looked cooked with Joey & Bud playing sore, question marks over Grundy, Jones suspended, injuries & the team's form being shoddy of late. However I do believe we can still take it up to the Pies this Saturday & give ourselves a chance.

Other than the fact Macca is 4 weeks awsay that might be ok. Jack has to play reserves to see if his body can stand the punishment.

Out; Buddy (obviously injured, if we have to rest him the rest of the season so be it)

                In; Cameron

This time leave Cameron with some space to work with. Isolate his opponent on him. We had the advantage of a really big forward against the Suns and continually bombed to a huge pack not giving him a run at it. Our game plan stinks. It is right out of the Dennis Pagan handbook except that doesn't work anymore because sides get numbers back to outnumber the forward.

                  Pink is injured again

Amarty & Maibaum are available. Stoddart has only played one match back from injury and that wasn't very inspiring. What's more it was two weeks ago because we had the bye last weekend. Towers and Robbo are also available. Angus Styles had a pretty good game last game when many didn't. AJ and Foote were good. Rohan was ordinary, 11 disposals in the NEAFL.

You have got to be kidding yourself. McCarten gave us far more than Buddy. Buddy is injured and needs to get the @@@@ out. You can't play if you don't train. longmire is a @@@@ coach for even allowing this. what an absolute Drongo to play the most valuable player in the AFL not only when injured but without training. just a disgrace!!!

Out; Old Coach (he's a Drongo for the Buddy situation alone), Injured Players, Old Game Plan, Old Fitness coach, Strategies that Don't Work.

Oh my mistake. Still he hasn't got a great record even at NEAFL level.

                              I like those moves.

Out: Newman- poor for the last 2 games. McCartin - cannot depend on him to hold down key position - next year he should fire. Hayward has struggled to get any possessions . Jones.

In: Towers, Robinson, Jack, AJ ??
