At least we know now why Grundy was dropped then played in the NEAFL. Should have just given him the time off with a BS injury.
Lets roll the dice Bloods and take them on. Aliir surely will take Cox? Rampe to provide run and great disposal. AJ to fight hard - good luck Alex - we need you with Reg gone.
One of our small forwards needs to fire this week - either Papley or Ronke I think. I would not even watch if AJ was not playing but will watch now. Go Bloods!Comment

A team made up of Swans/Pies players who are currently out injured would be a very handy team! (If those players were injury-free, of course!)Comment

The Age made up just such a team this week (before the return of Jack and Macca) https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/...01-p4zut6.html
THE COLLINGWOOD SWANS
How a combined injured team could look
B: Lewis Melican, Matthew Scharenberg, Lynden Dunn
HB: Callum Mills, Jeremy Howe, Jarrad McVeigh
C: Rupert Wills, Adam Treloar, Brayden Sier
HF: Jamie Elliott Brody Mihocek Daniel Wells
F: Sam Reid, Jordan De Goey, Gary Rohan
Ruck: Sam Naismith, Dan Hannebery, Kieren Jack
Interchange: Ben Reid, Tyson Goldsack, Flynn Appleby, Tim Broomhead
Emergencies: Kayle Kirby, Kurt Tippett (retired)Comment

I also wonder about the team balance when it comes to introversion and ectroversion. He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.Comment

I'm gagging about to vomit.
I can't unsee this, but I can pretend it never happened.Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Why? The more we do that, the longer mental health issues remain a stigma. In a week where Moises Henriques has been very open about his struggles with mental illness it's good that the club are being open about it too, presuming Reg has given the ok for them to disclose that he is unwell.Today's a draft of your epitaphComment

Not sure about having both Jack and McV back in.
How can you recover from a broken collar bone in 4 weeks? When he broke it in the Geelong game the prognosis was 8-9 weeks. McV had been playing well though before the injury.
Poor Reg. He's been such a great servant of the club. He's dedicated, focused, resilient and durable - and has absorbed a huge amount of pressure. I wonder if football mortality is creeping in. A lot of players would feel insecure as they reach the end. I hope he has some plans in place.Comment

It's very possible, if not probable, that his depression has nothing to do with football. It's often difficult to link a cause with the effect.Comment

No. With Harley in charge of the footy department it's like getting money out of a banker.

I've been thinking that the sudden team flop after north loss was due to a loss of on field leadership. We all look at and judge players on paper on physical attributes but not things like energy enthusiasm grit and determination.
I also wonder about the team balance when it comes to introversion and ectroversion.Comment

How do you know it's depression?Comment
