Sad news - he was doing so well. You would think players would learn, but I think it is harder than people think, even for people who don't take illegal drugs. You have to take supplements and medicine to perform at that level, but only the *right* supplements and medicine.
I remember a work colleague of mine was competing in the Australian Dragon Boat team and had a bit of a cold. Later that day and I saw him with a box of very mild cold medication on his desk and surfing the ASADA website. He said "I can't take *anything* without knowing exactly what's in it - not even panadol or a vitamin C tablet".
And of course, once you take any illegal drugs, you completely lose control of the situation, as Thomas and Keefe already found out.Comment

They should all use Tumeric Tea. Takes away the inflammation. Heard an ex AFL player on the radio saying a Tumeric diet has worked wonders for him.Comment

From the afl article:
"The substance detected by ASADA was an illicit drug, which when detected on match-day is regarded as performance enhancing and thus carries the potential of a four-year ban from football."
Wow.....for his sake, I hope he doesn't get that long. Silly boy!Comment

I don’t wish anything bad on Sam Murray, I’m glad we got a second rounder for someone who might not be much use to the Pies

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

Lets hope he is not guilty, but how many have been not guilty; few and far between. After the Essendon saga they all know what they can't have. For such a young person to get caught up with this @@@@.From the afl article:
