The most shocking thing I take out of this is that people still use IE

Been trying since 8.57. Got in twice, processed through until it supposedly was selecting a ticket for me (just one lousy, single ticket) then both times got thrown out with message ‘There was a problem processing your request. Please close your browser and try again.’

Watching on TV for free is looking like an attractive option.

So fed up with this year after year after year.
The last couple years there were still tickets available on the Tuesday & Wednesday for the SCG finals. Finals ticket prices do mean
that a lot of people who attend H & A games (which are much cheaper per game when you have a season ticket) don't go.
I don't think there will be masses of GWS fans at this game.

Yeh I'm not too worried about waiting for general release to be honest as I know there will be plenty of seats, but wanted to get some good seats in the Trumper Stand (i.e. in the first half a dozen rows, not 3/4 of the way up) - as funny as it sounds, the 10 minutes saved sitting at that end of the ground compared to the usual red zone makes a huge difference getting out of the car park and back on the road to Canberra.

So Swans Twitter reporting that Ticketflop are resetting their system, and general public sale will be delayed as well.

What an utter joke - can't we delist Ticketek and rookie list someone else next year. Couldn't be any worse.

Generally speaking the less tickets you want to buy the greater the chance you have of getting "good seats". There will be solo
footy fans buying one ticket tomorrow sometime who will end up with better seats than any of us. Friends.... family.... who needs 'em.

                  Now its officially broken:
"Today's on sale is on hold. More Info to come shortly. Thank you for your patience."

After about an hour queueing online to check whether my transaction went through, I finally managed to confirm that I did indeed get tickets. It does seem that if you were charged, you'll get the tickets, even though it seems that it crashed whilst processing payment for plenty of people this morning.

What a complete shambles and I too vote for delisting of Ticketek at the end of this season.

We were only after 2 KT... surely that shouldn't be too much of a stretch. I just don't understand why it needs to be sooooo hard every year.

Hahaha! Not. I’ve been trying since 8.57 to buy ONE ticket.

The tickets always get released sequentially, year after year. So you can often get better tickets by Wednesday / Thursday as they release them. It was the case with the Adelaide final at the scg a few years ago and also every single one at ANZ.

                          I'm not panicked for now.

I got through to the point where I entered the barcodes, then got the "please wait while we process" screen for a few minutes minutes, then it timed out - twice. Now when I go back in it tells me my barcodes are invalid - probably because it's the third time I entered them.

Looks like I'll be watching it at the pub.

Yeh I had that twice too Kallias.

They are rebooting the system and stopped the sale for now - try again a bit later when it is recommenced. Otherwise there will be plenty of tickets come general sale.

It may work... after all I'm covinced that Ticketek's system is run off a Commodore 64....
