Not everyone uses Twitter (well I don’t, far too much rubbish going back & forth). The notification system is an unobtrusive way to get information to people. The Swans seemed to have worked that out, hence their frequent use of it that I referred to earlier.

I know Meg and agree - was just noting that has been their choice of medium today.

Thanks, sorry I’m just shirty, I’ve wasted close to four hours because of this mess-up today. [emoji35][emoji35]

Don't worry, I am too Meg. Utterly frustrated about this mess up (just like every other year it feels!)

Just updated - 3pm tomorrow for club members, 4pm thursday for general sale: AFL Finals Round 1 ticketing update - sydneyswans.com.au

Got to love also how the AFL website almost hides the story about it - way down the list of articles behind such critical news as 'Clarko's cheeky text'....

I just got a notification on my phone through the swans app... tickets go back on sale Wednesday arvo.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

                          Is Ticketek cooked ?

Seems that the staggered times for Wed are 11 am Richmond v Hawks, 1pm Melb v Cats, 3pm Swans v GWS.

Let’s hope all those other @@@@@@s are cleared out before we start this painful process again.

Is there anything other than poker machines and drugs more lucrative than the AFL finals?

Twitter is an excellent source of breaking news and that includes news from the Swans. You just need to be judicious in your choice of the accounts that you follow.

I’ve got an account but no longer follow anyone. However judicious your selection to follow, you get intrusive stuff you don’t want to know about. Eg. From Swans the Round 23 winner of some Chemist Warehouse prize.
