Managed to get four tickets for family in the Noble. Tried at 10pm after getting back from Melb and didn't have any issues. Though it would be nice to be able to select seats rather than be given 4 in the bay you selected. Anyway, happy to have them and to be able to cheer on the swans!
Is Ticketek cooked ?

Just got a notification from the club saying that tickets have gone on sale to the public.
There were tickets left over to be available to the public?
Unless they held some specifically for public sale.
I would have thought it would have sold out by now. Wet Coke scalpers want $500 a ticket!! Overs.
Scalpers demand up to $500 for West Coast finals ticketsWild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.Comment

The Ticketek "experience" is so bad. Shows you a map. You click on a bay. Tells you there are seats, You go to pay. It puts you in a *completely different* bay. Repeat until you get something that resembles what you wanted.
Article in the Age pointed out that (1) it's the venue that chooses the vendor, (2) Ticketek won a "competitive tender" (yeah right, choice of 2), (3) Ticketmaster handled a 50K crowd at Optus Stadium with no issues. Which I take to be a veiled way of saying "maybe think about going with the other vendor next year".
Alright, that's my grumble over, my family will be cheering from Bay 26, looking forward to it!Comment

I could almost bet the SCG is locked into a ticketek contract until 2099. Seems to be the way these days. The Ticketek "experience" is so bad. Shows you a map. You click on a bay.
