Toby Pink to debut for North. Still remember him struggling as a key forward, and then showing something when moved into defence. I was somewhat disappointed when we cut him after 3 years given I thought he was always going to be a project player. Anyway best of luck to him given the amount of ball likely to come down his way.Tickled pink: North Melbourne Kangaroos' mature-age recruit Toby Pink to debut

I still remember that footage of Toby Pink kicking last second GF winning goal in his draft year. It was a long range tumbling goal.

Paddy McCartin was beaming in the MCG crowd after the win last night. Great to see!

Who was the bloke with him - seemed familiar like he may have been in the twos?

I could be wrong, but I thought it was the third McCartin brother, Charlie.

I spotted Paddy at the Lions practice game, ostensibly in some sort of official role - anyone know if this is the case?

Great to see AJ sporting a Swans scarf as the team's rep in the pre-match Spud's game ceremony tonight.

Ah, thanks for clarifying! Could make out the Bloods scarf but wasn't able to work out who was sporting it on my old, undersized TV.

Adam Goodes story re his life as a parent

Adam Goodes is known for being an AFL player, a children's author and an indigenous activist, but when it comes to his kids he's just known as dad. The 44-year-old dad has told 9Honey Parenting, his kids don't believe it when he tells them he was a famous footballer at one point. "They only know that I play football if I put my highlights up on the screen."

Big thanks for posting this! Goodesy seems to be very settled and happy! I was unaware that his mother had passed away, however. She left her mark on our club by raising an absolute champion and designing one of our Marn Grook jumpers.

Grahame Teasdale was a special guest on The Front Bar last night. Have attached link & interview begins at 26:30. He was entertaining and funny, with career highlight i recommend the younger Swans fans watch who didn't get to see him play. As the panel mentioned, Teaser the was the founder of the modern ruckman today. Brings back great memories at the height of his career, which i know he made big impressions for some of us old South fans on this board.
