I'm starting to see why the Swans accepted 1.5 Craig Birds for Hanners.

I'm just disappointed that we didn't trade him to make room for Mitchell a few years ago (and yes, I did say so at the time). everyone could see Mitchells potential.

I can't see Gaz being any better than he was for us. He's very hot and cold.

Everyone except those that simply repeat the Swans line and belittle those that offer a contrary opinion (regardless of it's validity).
I also have a feeling that it's those same anti-conformist RWOers that years later accuse others of not speaking up at the time.
It must help if like the proverbial goldfish you have no interest in matters past.

I think he also means that Hanners hasn't been fully fit for more than 2 years

Newman racking them up in the back line, the new kick in rules suit him

Might be the one we rue trading more than Hanners or Gaz

Handy player for us looking at our selected side and emergencies, do you really think he would be in our round one team?

Hannebery being "rebuilt" apparently. Like the bionic man?

Sam Edmund on Twitter: "Big admission by @stkildafc coach Alan Richardson on @SENBreakfast on Dan Hannebery. "I wouldn't be surprised if it's longer than Round 4. The problem is that he just needs to be rebuilt.""

I thought the story with Hanners at the Swans was too much training. Never took a break. Now we hear he hasn’t trained properly for 2 years?

I believe the start of his problems have been attributed to him trying to do too much on his return from the knee injury he sustained in the 2016 GF. After completing his rehab, he was back training at full capacity before Christmas, and winning the time trials. It was after Christmas that soft tissue injuries - groin and calf - started to set in, and these have continued to limit the amount of training he's been able to do for the last two years, as well as affecting his game day performances. The injury problem initially reported by the Saints was a hamstring issue, something he didn't have (as far as was reported) during his last two years at the Swans.

                    That makes sense.

                      A bit more context:

Hannebery 'needs to be rebuilt': Richardson

He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Personally I thought Newman was mishandled (i.e. played in wrong position) and under utilised (i.e. played in NEAFL) last year. I suspect Carlton will get more out of him this year.

The cynics will no doubt sneer that he's only playing for Carlton and that he's too soft, but I think he's a good footballer

So do I and I was sad to see him go.....sadder than seeing Hanners go actually.

He played very well last night.

What obfuscation are you talking about? I can't recall ever reading more candid comments from a coach.
