James Bell and Matt Ling have made the SANFL team to play the VFL selection., which Harry Arnold has made. And on the SANFL, Lachlan McAndrew was voted BOG for the Adelaide reserves in their most recent game. There seems to be a section of the Adelaide fan base that really dislike Reilly O'Brien and some of them are calling for McAndrew to come into the side at his expense. How likely that is I really don't know?
Past players - what are they up to?

Luke Parker plays his 300th game tomorrow. Sad he won't do so as a Swan, as he definitely would've been getting games with our injury list had he decided to stay.
Will cheer for him tomorrow as he'll always be a Swans legend regardless. I anticipate he'll receive warm congrats from his former team mates, coach and club.
Still surreal seeing him in a North guernsey.Comment

In more positive news, former Swan Rhys Shaw has been appointed GC Suns AFLW coach, becoming the first person in history to have been both an AFL and AFLW coach.
Well done Rhys!Comment

I've not been watching AFL360 much this season - for various reasons - but I don't mind the odd Wednesday as they have Horse and Adam Simpson providing some actual tactical insights.
So I watched today, and got an extra treat of an interview with Tony Armstrong in the final segment. He's working on a documentary (I think for Fox Footy) on racism in sport, but trying to come at it from a slightly different angle. I was reminded of what a personable, charming, articulate, intelligent TV persona he is. If anyone has access to AFL360 but, like me, has been skipping it this season so hasn't watched today's episode, I highly recommend seeking it out. You might be excited by the project he spoke about (due to hit screens shortly after the end of the season). But even if that doesn't tickle your fancy, you'll still get to spend a fantastic ten minutes or so in his company.Comment

Ryan O’Keefe’s criticisms of the club and its team are starting to wear thin. On ABC radio he made some snide comments in regards to Sydney’s aggression against the dogs that in the light of their Grand Final performances they should keep their mouths shut.
what is his problem? Still smarting about being retired by Horse when the game had clearly passed him by?Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.Comment

Will we ever see O'Keefe at future premiership reunions? Possibly not and if he did turn up, could be awkward for him and everyone really. It would be all his fault and surely he can't feel good about that?
Bury the hatchet Ryan, before it's too late. It is for Dunks......the man child.Comment

I loved the stuff with Nick Davis around the final he starred in. I had the good fortune to end up in a group with him at golf some years back by pure chance. A genuinely sweet guy who loves the club, was self-effacing about what he got right and wrong, and was lovely to talk with.Comment
