I know a highlights package does not make a player but check out Stephen's highlights, in particular his SANFL action. The boy can play!

I wonder if he might start off half back initially, given we really lack run out of defence?

I'm happy with that. Inside player with the pace to get clear. Plus he's from Norwood. We've had some success from there, most notably Crouch and Grundy, and they were the team that I followed when I was in Adelaide.

Geez freo did well.
Green at 10 is about where everyone thought 3 months ago.
3 clubs have snared 7 of the top 10 picks!
I expect Stephens to get some solid game time next year. Good pick up.

Stephens sounds like he has similar attributes to the last player we drafted with pick 5. If he has even close to the same career, we’ll be pretty content.
