You misread it. Maybe it was ambiguous, but I meant giving Rampe more freedom in defence with Mills and Jones to the midfield.

No worries - more freedom for Rampe could work but he was as good as Smith on Eddie last night as a lock down defender. Very versatile one on one.

I don't think it was ambiguous. I think it clearly said what Blood Fever thought it said. But understand where you're coming from now you've clarified it.

(FWIW Rampe probably would go OK in the midfield but he's too valuable marshalling the defence to ever contemplate moving him.)

Carlton going Ok against Port. They’ve improved a lot since last year.

The importance of well placed commas.

            The following is not ambiguous:

‘This will allow more freedom for Rampe, and Mills and Jones to play permanently in the midfield something we also need to do.’

              Or

This will allow more freedom for Rampe in the backline and for Mills and Jones to play permanently in the midfield which is something we also need to do.

I did notice that. I'm in Chiang Mai this week with my notebook and not my regular keyboard. I make a lot of typing errors with the notebook keyboard because I rarely use it. I'll be back home in Chiang Rai on Thursday and hope to return to normal typographical standards.

One missing comma and I'm being lambasted like Eddie McGuire.

Swans will very soon issue a press statement on this grave error.

If Heeney is not right why play him. He'll end up being a cripple at 28 like Hannebury.

I love grammatical banter and I am being pedantic but you can't use a comma before the word 'and'. The sentence should have read:

"This will allow more freedom for Rampe, with Mills and Jones to play permanently in the midfield.....etc"

                      Just sayin.....

That's a rule you've just made up. Of course you can use a comma before "and" in the right circumstances.

Believe it is called the 'oxford' comma

Agree with these two changes, Florent's last two games have been ordinary IMO. I think we will bring in either Fox or Dawson as the match report from our NEAFL practice match against the Giants this afternoon said both spent a significant amount of time at the centre bounce.

                              I'm so so sorry.

I think I should stand down from commenting on next week's game.

Will be elevated for a fwd role pocket then, wont attend a single centre bounce in seniors...... the benefits of having a second side, your doing it wrong Horse
